Louis Garneau hasn't confirmed that the Providence Women's Bib Tights are the result of a little divine inspiration, but their brilliant design is hard to explain if you don't assume they were created with celestial guidance. They might look fairly unexceptional at first glance, but the combination of fabrics, ergonomic panels, and thoughtful features will have you thanking the heavens during long training hours.
The majority of the Providence is constructed from Light WindDry 2, a waterproof and breathable stretch fabric that keeps the elements at bay while supporting your muscles to reduce discomfort and fatigue. At the knees, articulated Light Wind Pro panels provide extra mobility and prevent the wind from sucking away your body heat, while the bib's Highlander Mesh fabric provides lightweight comfort and moisture management to stop sweat from accumulating. All the Providence's seams use flatlock construction to reduce bulk and eliminate irritation, and the bib trim is also stretchy to prevent chafing and discomfort under jerseys and shells.
The Providence was designed to be worn in chilly weather, so LG lines it with warmth-trapping Heatmaxx, which keeps your engine warm and working efficiently even in less-than-ideal conditions. An AirZone chamois is specifically tailored to suit female anatomy, with moisture-wicking perforated foam, four-way stretch, and a seamless construction to eliminate discomfort. It's also been finished with a treatment that prevents the accumulation of odor-causing bacteria. Small details complete the Providence, starting with front, back, and bottom reflective accents, continuing to 9in ankle zips, and finishing with ankle grippers that keep the legs solidly in place.
