Neo Power Motion Bib Short

With the compressive benefits of the Power+ material's high Lycra content and the non-pinching fit of Endurexx leg bands, few shorts can compete with the empowering fit of Louis Garneau's Neo Power Motion Bib Shorts. The two main fabrics limit fatigue and breathe well, and the shorts stay comfortably in place while accommodating all of your cycling-related movements courtesy of the Power Mesh bib straps.

The Motion Air Gel chamois keeps you comfortable even while sitting in place at a stoplight. The gel padding itself is ventilated, and additional vents at the front keep you dry and limit the bacteria fighting that the Cupron has to do. A recessed center channel keeps the sensitive perineum safe, and it bottoms-out in a strip of stretchy mesh that lets the two sit bone pads move independently of each other.

The Neo Power Motions help to keep you in motion by restricting their ten panels' seams to the outer leg, eliminating saddle bunching and the threat of chafing on your inner thigh. These panels are also pre-shaped, so you fit into the shorts rather than stretching them to fit you. This means less restriction and an end to see-through seat panels. Your riding partners will thank you. Finally, reflective accents help keep you visible in low-light conditions.

  • Bib shorts for road cycling in comfort
  • Power+ material is stretchy and breathable
  • Motion Air Gel chamois is ventilated and padded
  • Mesh straps ensure airflow throughout the torso
  • Endurexx leg bands secure the fit without pinching
  • Outer leg seams minimize bunching and chafing
  • Compressive fit provides support without restriction

Best bibs I've worn so far

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have a few pairs of bibs from different manufacturers, but these are by far the most comfortable. The material feels great against your skin and the pad is great. According to the size chart I am right on the line between a medium and large, so I got a large. I'll be getting more in the future for sure. I am 5'7" and 195 lbs with a 34" waist for reference.

really nice bibs

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small

These fit great. They stay in place. The pad is really nice. Perhaps based on the size chart they run small -- accordingly a small should fit me. I went with a medium, and their perfect. I generally wear a medium in euro brands such as castelli. At the sale price, you can't beat these.

UPDATE: After about 5-6 months, the stitching at the leg gripper came undone, resulting in a hole. Competitive Cyclist and Backcountry were great at honoring the manufacturer's warranty. Sadly, they no longer had my size for a replacement pair.

Awesome Bibs

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

As others had noted, these do run a bit small, so take than into account when sizing. Other than that, they have been a great bib.

Another great pair of bids

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small

Be warned these will run small, however I knew this going in. I usually get a small but with these I jumped one size up to medium.

Love these bids, the fit is perfect and the legs are the right length just above the knee.

Great shorts but inconsistent LG sizing

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small

Love these shorts; great leg compression and comfortable chamois. Got a pair size small in the spring and they fit great. Got same size again in the fall and they are completely different in length and circumference (much shorter and smaller). Had to send them back and, no, I did not put on weight over the summer. The sizing at LG seems to change with every batch. This is not the first time.

i got a couple pair of the same LG bibs i always buy that had chamois way farther forward than others. disappointing they seem to lack QC

Some models will be more compressed than others. Inseam size changes, not all shorts are he same. Castelli Body Paint I've wore once this year since I got an LG Carbon Bibs I haven't stopped wearing since, also NEO for night time use. Course Line Bibs I will purchase next month hopefully on sale. LG's Mondo Supperleggera are the BEST Hot weather Jerseys, hands down. To boot; They are MADE in USA! Coldblack really works and the Carbon MESH is amazing. I've never seen anything like them.

Two Star MINUS RATING just because of a sizing issue seems harsh, no??? We Consumers need to do the Homework as well and not just blame a Company. C will always exchange Bibs you tried on with underwear, should wash them first before wearing them anyway.

small leg openings

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: small

Liked the look. Liked the chamois. Sizing is off (for me). I bought this bib and a LG top according to the size guide (small). I am 5'9'' 157; 32 waist, 38 chest. The waist and straps fit perfectly. However, the thighs are cut way too small. I'm scared moving up to the medium would make the body too big so I returned it. This would be good for a guy with thin legs, but I don't know how many serious bikers have legs this small (or like a squeeze this tight). I will have to go back to Izumi it seems.

According to the size chart, sounds like you should have ordered the med size especially with folks saying they run a bit small. I’m approx the same weight as you but couple of inches taller and I would order the med.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've had these bibs for about 3yrs and i love them. Good for a go to bib. If you can find these on sale, it's always a good deal. Huge fan of the leg gripper bands.

LG is slipping

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small

Well, compared to last year's models, the material is cheaper, they are shorter and cut tighter. Another brand that has dropped their quality.

thanks for the review. I buy LG almost exclusively mainly because it's been always true to the size , this might make me reconsider ... hassle to return the stuff

These are $120 Bib Shorts and NOT their Top Models. Live a little! The inseam states 10.5 inches....???? Did you want knickers???
