Exceptional fit, exclusive colorways.

Stand out on the road with the exclusive Louis Garneau Mondo Primo Jersey. Produced as a collaborative effort between Competitive Cyclist and Louis Garneau, the jersey features a limited edition colorway and aerodynamic, race-specific fit.

Pre-shaped shoulders enhance comfort in the cycling position, especially when you're dropped over the bars. Its full-length zipper ventilates your upper body when you're working up a sweat on hot summer rides. Other key features include Aero Lazer arm bands for improved aerodynamics and support, LG's signature silicone waist gripper for a secure fit, and smooth flatlock seams to eliminate irritation.

This exclusive jersey features CB Carbon + Lycra fiber for enhanced bloodflow and circulation. Its CB Pro + Lycra fiber offers exceptional shape recovery, conforming to your upper body without restricting motion. Additionally, you'll find the standard three rear pockets for easy storage and retrieval of energy gels and extra layers, as well as a multimedia pocket for seamless audio integration.

Not top quality

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: small

I ride exclusively in LG products. This jersey does not compare well to other Mondo/Course lines LG puts out. My first complaint is that the arms are very tight. This isn't a problem while riding, but it makes putting it on and off a hassle. I have ten small LG Course/Mondo jerseys and this is the only one that fits this way. I wouldn't mind the tight arms as much, but the core of the jersey is not next-to-skin/racer fit. It is looser, which is weird. The zipper is also unusual for a quality LG product. It is thick and this causes it to bunch up weirdly in the front during rides. Paired with the bib shorts for this kit, it rides up on the slippery material of the bibs which worsens that bunched up look/feel. Finally, the material of the core is mesh and doesn't feel good against the neck. I have to call this one a big fail. For the Double Up deal CC put on, I can see buying the combo as a training/casual ride kit, but I wouldn't recommend this as your go to jersey.

Nice jersey, zipper needs work

I really like the design and fit of this jersey. It has a classy look, with the red being a little more muted than the photo. Air flows nicely through the fabric.

The rear pockets are a little smaller than my other jerseys, which makes it easy to get things out.

I was a little surprised by the stitching quality around the zipper, which was a little sloppy.

First Impressions are mostly good...

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small

I wore this for the first time since purchasing yesterday and spent about three hours in it on a warm and humid 3 hour ride. It wicked well, dried fast, was comfortable and generally well suited for both the purposes purchased and the specific ride I chose to wear it on.

The material and finishing seem well mated, and other than having to size up to a XXL, I don't have much to complain about. The zipper does feel a little minimalist, so if you prefer a stouter zipper this might not be for you. And, because I had to go up essentially 2 sizes on the chart, it fits well everywhere, but the fit doesn't match up to the chart at all. Expect at LEAST one size up.

Zipper ruins it all.

this is a great jersey with a horrible zipper design. After a month of use I couldn't event get the zipper to work due to it's unusual design. Now I can't wear the jersey. Game ender.

Great jersey

I just received this jersey. It is racer fit. I'm 5'8'' and 145lbs and the small was a perfect fit.

The material is nice and soft and dries really quick.

The sleeve is my favorite part...next-to-skin and aero like I wanted it to be.

I bought the Mondo Evo bib (yellow) a few months ago and wanted a matching jersey...looks like Competitive was thinking the same.

Will be back for a long term review.
