Mondo Evo Tight

Sending it into winter can be an intimidating endeavor. There's ice, there are slick, salty patches of road, and gusts that try their best to send you sideways. But you're determined. You've got your studded tires. You've got your booties. And all you need are some toasty tights to get you through the frost, like Louis Garneau's Mondo Evo Tights. The Mondo Evo tights combine Supra WindDry wind-and-waterproof front and lower back panels to slice through the weather, and HeatMaxx back panels that trap in the heat, elevating warmth inside so you can stomach below-freezing temps. Garneau employs its AirZone chamois with multi-density foam and a tapered cut to cushion your sit bones, so you can pump out big miles even when the weather is sub-par.

  • Toasty tights to spin into snowy season
  • Supra WinDry front panels seal out the wind and wet
  • Trap heat inside with HeatMaxx back panels
  • Snug fit doesn't leave room for frosty air
  • Fabrics have a knack for wicking to keep you warm
  • AirZone chamois cushions your sit bones
  • Reflective accents boost low light visibility

Just what I wanted!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: medium

These pants arrived yesterday and I put them to the test today on a 30 mile ride. When I started my ride, it was 45 degrees and by the end it warmed up to 55. Wind was mostly calm and it was partly sunny throughout the ride. We're supposed to reach 60 degrees today but I didn't want to wait around to ride, and I'm so glad I went out when I did. These pants were perfect! They kept my legs warm and blocked the wind. I especially loved the high waist (I was able to tuck my base layer into them for extra warmth) and reinforced knees. The zippers at the bottom of the pant were great for accommodating my socks and top of my shoes. I also love the fuzzy lining. These pants will definitely be warm enough for even colder temperatures. I'm really glad I found these pants and look forward to wearing them more this fall. FYI I'm 5'6, 145 lbs and have an athletic, hourglass figure and the medium fit great.

Chest:
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Waist:
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Hip:
Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.
Inseam:
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
