Present for the wife

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I got these for my wife to replace her older chamois. She absolutely loves them and I have noticed that she is able to go on longer rides and more often. They seem to really reduce the effects of the dreaded saddle soreness.

bought as a gift

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

"I would highly recommend these bike shorts. The length is great, not too long or too short. The legs don't ride up at all and the waist is comfortably high. Plenty of padding for the hour commute to work I've been using them for. I liked them so much I bought a second pair in another color. 5'5" 120lbs and small fits perfectly."

Short distance only

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

First: i go on some pretty long rides, like 100+ miles. i'm 5'5" (36-28-39) and purchased size-Med. when i put on these shorts, they feel perfect - everything is just right! - but after 25-30 miles in the saddle, they're done. i would argue this has been the same since day-1, so i don't think there's any deterioration. the chamois just isn't as technical as the castelli's that get me through the longer distances. if the padding could hold up, these would get 5-stars. as-is, i have relegated them to only shorter rides.

Wonderful!

These are my first pair of padded shorts I ordered since getting back into biking. I am pleasantly suprised with the comfortable fit and the padded amount! Took them on a few fairly long gravel and single track ride, with no bunch ups and minimal adjustments. I am loving these! I bought them in my usual size (medium) and they fit as expected.

They run big

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: Small

I've always bought these shorts and they used to run extremely small, so small in fact that I had to buy a Large. Then I had a road biking accident that kept me benched for 2 years. Now that I'm back (I'm the same size I was before), I ordered a pair size L and had to return them because they were too big and exchanged them for a Medium. The M were also too big and had to exchange them for a Small!! So quality and material are the same fabulous ones as always, but I don't know what happened to the sizing, it's completely messed up!! I still love them though!

best shorts I have ever had

I love these because they don't have the annoying and uncomfortable rubber in the thighs

    Great shorts!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small

I've been riding over 20 years and have done many long (175 miles) rides. I have always liked shorter shorts with minimal padding, but have been looking for something with a little more padding for several years now. Like some others have mentioned, I don't like the "sausage thigh" look and I don't like the diaper feel of many brands. The padding on these is quite a bit thicker than I have worn, but I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them on. Not too much of a diaper feel and no sausage thighs!! I wore them for the first time on a 50 mile ride and they did the trick. They were very comfortable, didn't put pressure in the wrong places while cushioning the sit bones very well. I also definitely loved the length. I plan to buy several more pairs.

    SUPER COMFORTABLE, TRUE TO SIZE

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: small

For all of us women who DON'T have toothpick thighs, super comfortable, not tight around your thigh for that "unflattering" look. Am looking at getting another pair of this brand!

    most comfortable!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

I have only heard great things about this brand and decided to take the plunge. I have only worn them a couple times, but they are superior to 3 other brands i have tried (all around the same price range). The wide band at the waist and material at the legs do not dig into your skin and provide comfort throughout the ride. I have only tested to 30 miles. The short length was perfect! Not too long and not too short! I tend to prefer shorter bike shorts. I will continue to purchase LGs!!

    Great shorts

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Size Bought: Medium

I wear a size 10 in jeans and ordered the medium. They fit great and the shorter length is so much better looking than other longer styles. There isn't a thick leg band so no sausage inner thigh action. The material is super smooth and comfy. I wore them today for 20 miles and was perfectly comfortable. Highly recommend these.
Update- Well i have used these for several months and am dissappointed that the chamois is pretty smooshed down and not as comfortable any more. Even a short 30 mi ride was brutal. So they are cute but the chamois doesnt stay nice for long.
