Warm your ears and cool your brain.

It's common knowledge that heat escapes from your head faster than anywhere else. When you're hammering away on the bike, it's OK to shed some heat, though. The Louis Garneau Ear Cover 2 is perfect for the days when the cold air might freeze your ears but a full cap would trap too much heat.

The Ear Cover 2 is made of LG's Enerblock fabric, a stretchy polyester knit with a soft back and breathable membrane that keeps out wind and water. As a finishing touch, Garneau made the front logo reflective for an added hint of visibility, and added a hook-and-loop adjustment tab for a comfortable fit.

A must have for cold rides!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: L/XL

I used this product during a brutally cold(+5 to -5 windchill deg F) 6-1/2 hour off-road ride. Fingers and toes were a problem but not my ears. There is NO WAY I'll ride in the cold without this ear cover.

Warmer than they look

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I live in FL so cold is a relative term. When I ordered them I thought they would be thicker but I was happily surprised that the thinness fits easily with my helmet with a little adjustment. I wore these in 50 degree windy weather with a summer cycling cap under my helmet and they kept me very comfortable bordering on warm. I imagine they would be great for colder weather also. I have a small head (50 cm) and the velcro adjusted to my size and held well without coming loose. My husband borrowed them and they fit him well also. Great value in my opinion.

Great for XC skiing

I wasn't aware that this had a velcro closure to attach one end to the other. It turned out to be a good thing as it provides a more snug fit than my old Pearl Izumi one that doesn't use velcro. Same LG quality you've come to expect. I anticipate I'll have this in my ski bag for the next 5-10 years.

Keeps ears warm on cool/cold days

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I always use ear covers/warmers when the temps drop below 50. These are perfect for chilly morning rides and when the temps rise, remove and stash them in your pocket.

Great ear warmer

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I only use an ear warmer on days that require and ear warmer ... which was 5 times this past winter in the northeast. I find ear warmers to be either too little of too much protection most of the time. That said, when the weather is ear warmer range this ear warmer is excellent.
