Style and performance, together at last.

Louis Garneau's Bolero Women's Top looks great, but it's more than a simple fashion accessory. The Lite SkinSens fabric offers UPF 50+ sun protection and lightweight protection in chilly temperatures, not to mention moisture-wicking properties, and the thumbhole cuffs keep the sleeves locked in place to prevent exposed wrists. The Bolero's flat Micro-Activ seams prevent chafing, and the fully detachable front zip makes getting it on and off easy and provides almost unlimited ventilation options.

Just what I needed

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I like to wear sleeveless cycling jerseys, but when I start my early morning rides the temps can be chilly. This bolero top does the job of covering my shoulders to keep warm. The bolero is lightweight and can easily be rolled up to fit in a jersey pocket. I bought one in the black and pink glow.

Cute and functional

Perfect for a warm up, cool down or protective cover during a ride. I bought two and love them! They run a bit short in arm length and small across the chest. I normally wear a M and bought XL

Perfect for summer in Dallas

I wear this with a triathlon tank top when I bike. As a fair-skinned person with a history of skin cancer, I wanted something to keep the sun off without having to slather on sunscreen. This works perfectly. If I mist it with water, it even helps cool me down. I also love that there's no flapping from excess fabric as when I wear my bike jacket.

In terms of being a pair of very thin arm warmers, or coverage when you're afraid of a sunburn, these are fine. But, I wanted to buy this to use with cycling tanktops to cover my cleavage (and I'm only a B cup). However, when zipped up, even with only a B cup, this top only covers the upper breastbone and then creates a gap perfectly designed to still show the exact cleavage I was hoping to conceal. As an alternative to arm warmers (although these are not really warm) the top may still be in the rotation. But to keep the guys eyes off my chest during a coffee stop, it's a fail.

Love it!

I'm 5'7, 120 lbs, I purchased it in a small and it fits perfectly. I live in New England and purchased it for those chilly spring mornings bike rides. I wear it with a sleeveless bike shirt, once I warm up I take it off and stick it in my rear pocket. Great product!

Really like it

I ride in Arizona, 100+ degrees, and bought it for sun protection. I wear it with a sleeveless or racer back tri top underneath. I am 5'7" 125 pounds and got the Small and it fits very tightly. I got it as an option to sun sleeves.
