Bare minimum size, but perfect for me
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
My Silica finally needed replaced after several years. I liked the Silica, but was looking for something a little more narrow towards it's front. My legs would sometimes rub against it. So, I wanted to find a small, sleek looking bag to replace it with. The Lizard Skin Micro seemed to fit the bill...
The bag attached nicely under my Fizik saddle. To rear straps secure it tightly to the seat rails the the front strap attaches high up on the seat post. My legs do not make contact with it when I peddle and it fits tight and cleanly under my saddle. It appears to be fairly durable. I rode on wet winter roads with it and I was able to wipe it clean.
As far as space...bare minimum. Tube, lever, C02 and boot and patch kit. That's about it. So, it's definitely not for everyone. I do many miles and most of them are solo, so I try to keep everything as aero as possible, so that's why I lean towards the smaller bags. You can also see on this photo Ive attached the Lezyne Tech Drive mini pump which is mounted on the rear cage. Fits nicely on bike. This was reviewed also.
