A better way to drink.

The Lifestraw Steel water purification system is about the size your average stick, and weighs about the same, so it's a breeze to take camping, hiking, or traveling. It's also made from steel (surprise!), so it's durable enough to handle rugged adventures in the backcountry. The dual filtering action of both a hollow-fiber membrane and activated carbon capsule removes virtually all water-borne bacteria, protozoa, sediment, and chemicals, too, so your water will be crystal clear, safe, and delicious whenever you're drinking from wild sources.

Backountry essential

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This a perfect tool to keep with anyone going outdoors. It's durable , lightweight and provides one of life's essentials good for emergencies or just keeping hydrated on the trail. Highly recommend!

Very handy

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Super nice to have as a back up, I ran out of water on my hike this weekend and I used this to drink straight from the river. It worked great and I was lucky to have it with me. Just a simple and light tool that is very very handy.

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Hard to believe you can have clean and safe water through a straw but this little thing could make all the difference depending on the situation. Small and lightweight. Easy to use at home, in the backcountry, and abroad.

Light and Convenient

Great so far! It is light and easy to use and clean. It is bigger than I expected, about 9 inches but nothing crazy.

I have to admit I was a little skeptical before I used a Lifestraw, but now I think they are GREAT. Light enough, and good to have camping or out on a long hike.
