Femto Drive Rear Light

Lezyne’s Femto Drive Rear Light is designed to live quietly on your bike until its called into action by a quickly-sinking sun or a few wrong turns. It runs on a CR2032 watch battery, and will run for up to 60 hours on flashing mode, so a couple hour-long runs home in the twilight won’t mean remembering to replace the battery.

  • 7 lumen output makes this a backup ‘be-seen’ light
  • 60 hour run time in flash mode, 30 hours in solid
  • Straps onto any seatpost
  • Runs on a CR2032 watch battery

Not meant for seat post

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This light is not meant to be used on a seat post. Only maybe if the seat post is perfectly vertical which is not likely. Mounted to a less than vertical seat post the light will project back and down to the rear tire, not to approaching traffic etc. Avoid this light and continue shopping.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The light is dim compared to newer designs, and it runs on disposable batteries instead of rechargeable batteries.

I don’t know if I just got a bad one, but it turns off about every 2-3 minutes of use. Seems like the vibration from riding makes it shut off. Changed batteries out for some fresh ones, and I still have the same issues. I’m looking for something better.

    Excellent Battery Life

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've used this light as a backup or spare for several years and I'm amazed that it's always ready to go. I've used it for a number of several hour rides and I'm waiting for the battery to die but it hasn't. I think the key is the CR2032 batteries. I've owned a number of lights that use regular AAA batteries and it seems the batteries are always dead or corroded or leaking after sitting for a time.

    Simple & safe

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

It just does exactly what you'd hope - show 'em where you are. They're simple, small and inexpensive enough to buy a few - I keep a set on my town bike and I keep a set in my trail pack in case I get off the trail after dark. Keeps the cops happy, too (cyclists are required to ride with lights in the dark).

    What I needed

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Simple, easy to use, surprisingly bright little tail light. Absolutely zero complaints.

    Works like a charm

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I had one of these for several years...then I lost it. Glad they are still making the same bomber product - this thing works fantastic and stays on no matter what!

    Love these lights!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These red lights are awesome. The batteries so far have lasted over 10 hours of biking and I haven't had to change them out, even though I always buy replacement batteries for products when I first purchase the product. These lights also have a feature where they will blink, dim in and out, and shine fully. You can push the light in and it'll click, and you can rotate through those light settings. It's very bright. I seriously love these lights!

    Pretty good!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I like the light it is plenty bright. Only complaint is that I ordered the red color and it is pink.

    ride safe, Dad!

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I gave this to my dad for Xmas so cars can see him when he rides his bike on the road. Safety first. Cool anodized colors. 5 stars!

    Great light

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I needed a tail light for my commutes to work. This one definitely gets the job done, and at this price you can't go wrong.

    Be Seen

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Use this for city commuting at night. Very simple to use and effective.

Couldn't get easier to use! Great light

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Sometimes I time sundown wrong and that always gets sketchy. I wanted a super cheap easy to use alert light, and this is it. Works great, clip/band attachment flexibility is awesome, and the different pulse types are a nice touch overall.

I got one of these to throw on the back of my townie and I throw it on every time I'm riding at night. It's plenty bright and the battery life seems great. It never hurts to have a light, whether during the day or the dead of night, especially at this price.

      Lezyne Rear Light

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Perfect small light for morning and evening commutes. Battery lasts for months of commuting. Straps onto the seatpost or a rack really easily and the strap is durable. Very pleased.

      perfect lighting

Bought this for my night time commutes. My thoughts on this rear light is that it does a great job at catching the drivers attention. Don't let the size of the light fool you its small, but very powerful.

        Excellent Light

Leznye lights are awesome add-ons to support your evening commuting needs. I grabbed a handful for the family. The light is bright and adds additional confidence of safety for those early evening cruises.

          Small, bright, excellent battery life

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The battery life on this thing is incredible. I've accidentally left it on overnight a few times and still haven't had to change them even after months of continued use.

The light is small and bright for its size. Definitely my favorite so far.

          Perfect Compact Light

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The elastic rubber band fits great on any seat stem, the switch integrated into the front lens (just push or push and hold down the front lens) is perfect to avoid having an actual switch on the light, and the light itself has an always on function as well as a pulsing function. This is the perfect bike light for your evening visibility and riding needs!

          Does the job

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Works well. Seems a little cheaply made but can not expect much for the price
