Unique brand, unique sweater...

To me the "Oxford" feels like it's eclectic roots; built from rugged materials, hand stitching from Nepal, and paired with contemporary style in mind. The stitching ( 4-ply knit/purl) is well made, tightly woven with no imperfections. In addition, and what makes this piece unique is that the coat is lined with a thin fleece. Wearing this piece feels substantive , to some bulky, but it gives me the feeling of ruggedness, I purchased the black which is more like a dark charcoal. In terms of warmth, it is above average, the sweater hugs the body and rests well onto the hip, leaving no room for cold air or wind to get in, but since it doesn't wear loose it traps less warm air as a result. I prefer to this in temps from 20 degrees up to 60s with only a single layer underneath. Though I felt at those temps it was right at the edge of comfort perhaps. The zipper is KYY and zips effortlessly, and strangely "female" zip. The pockets are shallow, there is also an inside left pocket in the fleece lining.

I own many wool sweaters, the Oxford is a worthy unique piece in it's own right - it's versatile, one of a kind, and ready for the worst fall and winter can throw at it. PS> If you were curious about the label "Laundromat", it has to do with the company's roots, also unique.

arm hole is too small

i liked the sweater except that arm hole is too small. the material is so thick that you feel as if you bind a pillow in your armpit.

I observed this somewhat I guess .... ? .When I first put it on and the friction of the fleece caused a subtle amount of bunching (sometimes) but I would not characterize this sweater as "so thick" as the problem. It fits just right for the size so perhaps you needed to go up in a size ?

This sweater is awesome! It has a fleece lining and wool exterior so you can wear tshirts under without getting the "wool itch". Incredibly warm too. I have worn this in single digit temps and have been very comfortable. It is thick and well worth the money. Stylish too. You can expect to receive many nice comments when you wear it. Size is true.

While this is obviously the perfect choice for tending to your beautiful horses, it's also a great option for us simpler folks to wear around town, out to dinner, apre ski, etc.

Handmade, super warm, and with the right amount of class

    Quite the handsome sweater

I got this sweater for my husband last Christmas. He absolutely loves it and looks so handsome in it.

The faux suede shoulders and elbow patches give it a refined look, but really he just wears it around town because it's so warm and comfy. It's a thick Wool on the outside and a super soft fleece on the inside so it's really more of a sweater jacket than just a sweater.

I freakin LOVE this sweater. After a long day on the slopes it's the comfiest thing in the world to throw on. Makes you look all distinguished and such, too. Fits great, it's super warm, and the fleece lining makes it so you don't get itchy. For how much wool and original craftsmanship you are getting, the price is surprisingly low. I'll be buying other L-mat sweaters for sure.
