Masters at their craft

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These shoes excel in what they were created to do. Big wall assents and all day adventures at the Crag. I had an opportunity to try a pair of these out and I definitely enjoyed them for the multi-pitch sport routes we were climbing. I even took them to joes valley with me and used them on a couple not so aggressive boulder problems. I love the high ankle support and fit, which if I had more time in them, were molding to my feet. If you're looking for a great shoe for long days on the wall with Cracks and smears, these are the shoes for you.

Love the adjustablilty

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If you are looking for a comfortable fit and adjustable shoe then look no further. Cinch it down if you need more grip and loosen it for casual bouldering or climbing!

Love these shoes!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

If you plan on leaving your shoes on for hours while adventuring into the unknown, these shoes are perfect for you. They are great for smearing on slabs, climbing cracks, throwing heel hooks and covering your ankles from those scary roof pulls. Awesome for big wall goals and over all comfort. I've even done bouldering and sport climbing indoors with them and have been very happy with the way they preform.

Great Quality, Didn't Fit Me

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The TC Pros are definitely a classic shoe. For me, with a wide forefoot, they just didn't fit quite right and my toes would go numb really quickly. Check out similar hightop options from Butora and Scarpa.

I hope you like jammin too!

Fantastic shoe! One of the two best all around crack/ trad shoes...
-Rigid shoe, works great on edges
-Padded tongue for some added comfort in the cracks
-Roomy toe box works well with wide feet and on long climbs
-High top comes in handy if you're into wide cracks
I would recommend this to anyone into trad or crack climbing specifically...with the exception of thin cracks due to the larger, somewhat blunt toe box on these... in that case the Muira lace ups are the cats ass!

These things are sweet. So comfortable and breathable. Size them down and they are nice and aggressive or size them up and they are great for all day outings.

Excited to Own a Pair

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I was able to test out a pair for a few weeks recently and I'm excited to own a pair soon. They edge, smear, hold, everything well. The high tops are nice in cracks for protecting your ankles and the laces make adjustment easy. The only issue is the tongue will fold under near the toes sometimes but that's just to keep everything tight and together which is a small price to pay for quality shoes. Love them and stoked to get out and climb with them more this season!

Do it all trad shoes

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These do it all slab, crack, OW, face climbing. From the sandstone desert to polished granite the TC Pro's will take you to the top. They're pretty darn stiff out of the gate so they take some getting used to if you're coming from a soft shoe, but they break in nicely. Size down for performance or up for all day comfort, your call.

Love the laces

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are my first shoes with laces! It makes it super comfortable and adjustable. I was able to make both of my oddly shaped feet fit snug in the shoe and give me the grip and strength needed!

Great Outdoor and Crack Climbing Shoe

This shoe is stiff and rugged. Great for long days climbing all kinds of rock!

    Ive owned 5 pairs

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Burly shoe- go to for granite trad and desert crack! Love the ankle protection. They hold up to multiple resoles ! Just such a stellar shoe i've bought several through the years and I will probably buy more

    Tried and true

It's hard to say something about these shoes when so much has already been said. They're fantastic trad shoes. They are not right for every foot shape though so make sure you try them on before committing. Also be careful with the laces. My friend snapped his laces the first time he wore them when he was trying to tighten them. Though he does have a tendency to be a little too rough with tightening his shoe laces so it might have been a fluke. But I would still be careful :)

      Favorite shoe ever!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I cannot say enough good things about this shoe! I use mine everyday and I love everything from how well they fit to how well they climb. I really do not know what else there is to say about these shoes, I will probably never buy a different pair!

      Air jordans of climbing

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Just look at all the reviews.. That says it all. Amazing shoe.

      Wonderful, comfortable crack shoe.

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The TCs remain one of the most advanced and comfortable crack, trad and slab shoes available. Sizing them is difficult though and very personal. I recommend trying on a few sizes and cross referencing that for the type of climbing you are planning on doing. I've found that flat toes are incredibly comfortable for cracks and jams but leave a little to be desired for small edges and sensitive, technical climbing.

      Great neutral shoes

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I put away my down-turn shoes due to recovery from a foot injury and picked these guys up. I had forgotten how much fun neutral shoes can be, these would be the ideal shoe for crack climbing too!

My third pair of TC Pros. What else is there to say. This shoe does everything for me. Comfortable all day, check. Edges like a steel beam, check. Durable and long lasting, check.

        Awesome shoes and comfortable.

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I want to start out and say that I am not a climber. I am a photographer who went on a climbing trip and I used these shoes. I needed to get some good pictures of crack climbing in Indian Creek. The only way to get the shots were for me to climb, so I used this shoes to climb my first crack and I couldn't have been more pleased. They were comfortable and sturdy, the grip was awesome. The rock was slick and the crack barely fit my toes but I was still able to lock in my big toe and push my entire body up the wall to get the shots! I don't have any pictures of me with the shoes but here is a picture I took from the top down!

        Awesome shoes and comfortable.

Wow! What a story of courage = your first climb at Indian Creek!
The picture is wonderful, especially in black and white!

        Best Shoe for Long Climbs!

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This shoe is great because the comfort is amazing, while not losing any performance. Despite the lack of downturn, it performs really well on small edges and pockets, and in the crack, there is no other shoe quite like it. If you are doing long multi-pitch climb and want the shoe that you can trust but also can feel comfortable in, the TC Pros are for you.

        The Quintessential Trad Shoe

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Ive worn these bad boys on 12+ pitch routes, crack lines, some edgy stuff, and some offwidths. They are really the quiver of one trad shoe. Size them comfy, you'll regret going tight.
