Synchro Alpine Touring Boot

La Sportiva's Synchro Sku Boot is kind of like an ambiguous image—like the vases that look like faces—in that some ways it looks like a ski mountaineering boot and in others it looks like an alpine touring boot. One thing's for sure, you won't feel like turning around when your high stoke spontaneously changes casual tours into skimo epics. Its roomy 102.5 last works with the thermo-moldable liner to create a comfortable housing for your foot as you two brave the steeps in search of a downhill that's worthy of this boot's rugged rowdiness.

A carbon-infused vertebra makes the Synchro La Sportiva's stiffest boot ever built, meaning this boot is just as much a hard-charger as it is an easy-hiker. La Sportiva made the rest of this boot out of Grilamid for rigid durability that still weighs around three pounds per boot. The Vibram rubber sole has the traction necessary for rocky summits, and this boot is compatible with all tech bindings.

Beefy!

This is a hard hitting boot that will drive any ski. Still good on the uphill but this boot really shines on the downhill. Mix and match liners for different fits!

Solid All-Arounder

I bought these at the beginning of January, and have since gotten to put quite a few miles in them. They are great boots, and I'm psyched on my purchase. Pros: Easy to heat mold, comfortable walk mode, easy transitions, warm, stiff. Hard to come up with complaints for them honestly. Cons: To nit pick, the walk mode can get noisy at times. I think I need to make a small adjustment to them, but there is an occasional clicking when touring up steep faces. The buckles come undone occasionally up steep faces too, but they are very easy to get back into place, even with thick Hestras on. Best touring boot I've worn. I came from Dynafit Neo PX's, and loved those, but they dont hold a candle to the ski-ability of the Synchros.

Great power transfer

Finally got to ski in these. They are noticeably stiffer than the Spectre but still tour really well. The overlap liner is super comfy and warm. Overall, they are my new favorite AT boots.

Get all the POW!!

With the lack of snow in Colorado, I just got to take these boots out and I am really impressed with the range of motion while touring and how stiff they are in downhill. Another huge plus is the overlap liner which I found to be really comfortable and easy to mold. I highly recommend this boot to anyone looking to get the best out of range of motion and stiffness with zero sacrifices to either.

Psyched!

An excellent update from the Spectre 2.0. The fit is much roomier than the original Spectre on the top of the foot and the additional stiffness is a nice addition. The new liner fits really well. Great boot and so easy to tour with.
