Way too small
Frequently purchase 30x30. Waist was way too small, length way too short. Will try a 32x32. Material seems legit. First pair of Kuhl’s.

Love Kuhl
- Familiarity:

I bought the Silencer shorts which fit and feel amazing, I got the pants version. As expected, awesome!

Great pants for tall, athletic build
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Would give 5 stars but have only used a couple times so far (hiking) and have not yet put them through the wash. Always a challenge for a tall guy with athletic build to find a decent fit. Listed as "full" fit, but Kuhl on their website correctly states that is is more of the athletic fit. Older model, which does not have a lot of stretch fabric built in. Have been using the shorts version several years now and love the durable fabric, washing never shrunk the fit. Straight leg fit, not baggy, but not a slim jean fit either (my usual wear). So, fits perfectly over low cut hiking shoes, but not quite over mid-height boots. Length perfect for a tall guy. Pockets ok, nothing special. A bit of room in the crotch, which works well to allow motion. Light weight, really needed a base layer in walk today with temps in the 30's. Have other Kuhl gear and love the quality.

Great idea but sub par cell pocket
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
These pants are fantastic on a lot of levels but the "cell phone" pocket.... No pair of hiking pants should ever have an open pocket. Button flap. Always.

Reasonably nice pants with bad hardware.
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Ok cut, Ok material, and. All of the drawbacks of typical metal hardware, and none of the benefits. the waist button will not stay together, and its uncomfortably thick and sharp in the wrong places under a backpack.

Almost excellent
- Familiarity:

These pants have fantastic materials and fit and a decent amount of features. The water resistance is marginal but they dry quickly. The pair I got had no size issues like other people seem to have. The reason these aren't my favorite is because of the absolutely terrible front button. It's some sort of weak circle aperture with zero clasping ability. It does not stay closed if any pressure is put on it. If it pops open then the whole zipper unzips immediately. If I unzip the zipper? The button snaps open with zero resistance. You are required to wear these with a belt. I'm tempted to just cut the thing off and replace it with a normal pants button. Considering what you pay for these it's a crime.
