- Q & A
Not very waterproof
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Medium
Tried writing a more extensive review on this jacket previously along with an image but backcountry moderated the review and did not post it. This jacket was very moist on the inside after standing under a shower for only 15 minutes.
Replacement for the parachute jacket
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Large
I purchased this as a replacement for the Kuhl parachute jacket that I used for 3 years. When I learned that Kuhl no longer made the parachute jacket I was really disappointed. I ordered the new version with doubts as the previous version was without flaw. I am very happy with Kuhl and their update to my old jacket. This fits exactly the same even though it has breast pockets and a stiff brim on the hood. Thank you BC for the next day delivery.
Light weight raincoat
- Size Bought: large
Great jacket for hot Florida downpours. I've got a big head and the hood is still pretty big. If you wear a hat and use the hood, it works pretty well. The water beads up on the material and rolls off. Best slicker I've ever worn.
Breathable Light Rain Jacket
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: XL
Light weight; decent breathability; wears small so order larger than normal; material has some elastic qualities; does very well in heavy rain. I should've purchased a XXL.
