Jack of All Trades.

Equal parts technical and comfortable, the Klattermusen Men's Gere 2.0 Pant provides weather-resistant protection no matter what Mother Nature throws your way. The Gere features a stretchy and quick-drying fabric that's not only highly wind-resistant and durable, but is also bluesign approved for sustainability. The reinforced panels double down on the Gere's longevity, while the articulated knees assure unimpeded mobility and comfort.

Additionally, the Gere is equipped with mesh-backed ventilation for on-the-go temperature regulation—meaning you can dump excess body heat quickly. The curved leg seams prevents wear on the lower portion of the pants, and the hem also features hooks to attach the pants to your bootlaces. Not to mention, the Gere is compatible with steel stirrups, so you can leave the gaiters (and consequently excess weight) at home. The bevy of pockets keep all of your necessities secure, and the integrated belt ensures a fine-tuned fit. So no matter what your adventure calls for, the Gere provides protection and performance.

mountain uniform

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

This is probably my top item for doing anything outdoors - by itself or with a layer underneath for when it's cold. I've had mine for quite some time now with no complaints. They fit just as well as an old pair of jeans, but provide much more protection. Windproof and water resistant, with mesh openings to vent out in case I get too hot.

These, alongside the Klättermusen Fjorgyn, are a staple of my uniform for whenever I'm on the mountain. The unique look also drew my attraction, there is definitely a distinct cut and feel that shows that these are not just an ordinary pair of pants.

How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Bend to the side and measure around the place where your waist bends, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest part of the hip.
Measure from the crotch to the floor with no shoes.
