Tuck Sleeping Bag

Waking when you're too warm is okay when you're at home because you can just flip your leg out of the blanket, but that's more challenging if you don't have a camping bag like the Kelty Women's Tuck 20 Sleeping Bag. Its unique Comfort-Tuck Zipper wraps around the bag just above the footbox so you can untuck your feet. So whether it's a cold autumn night in the mountains or a warm spring morning in the desert, you're equipped for comfort in any situation.

The pin-up feature allows you to pin the footbox up and walk around the campsite in your sleeping bag without getting it dirty, so you're not freezing while you get the coffee ready and wait for the sun to warm the landscape. ThermaPro synthetic insulation feels light and lofty like down, except it'll stay warm even if you happen to get it wet. The adjustable hood customizes coverage, and there's a pocket designed specifically for smartphones, so you can drift off to the dulcet tones of your favorite sleep playlist.

  • Camping comfort from spring through fall
  • Comfort-Tuck system lets you stick your feet out for venting
  • ThermaPro insulation is lofty and compressible
  • Natural fit footbox won't cramp your toes
  • Offset quilt construction maximizes warmth
  • Anti-snag zipper won't frustrate you at 3AM
  • Media pocket secure phone or headlamp
  • Stuff sack included for easy transport and storage

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Regular

For the price you can never go round. My only grouse this is 50% heavier than the published weight and therefore, taking it with you on a long backpacking expedition is an absolute NO. Also it packs rather bulky & getting it into a backpack's dedicated sleeping bag compartment will take a lot of work. Quality wise as I mentioned earlier, for the price you wont go wrong. Best use strictly restricted use to car camping.

Details said it’s claimed weight was 3lbs and when I got it it said it was 4.5 lbs

Thanks so much! 3lbs is my upper limit so I would have been very upset if we got it and found out

    Great beginner bag!

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I got this for my sister who is looking to get into backpacking with me. She is ok carrying a little extra weight to save a few bucks on her startup. Ideally this would be a glamping bag but still packs down small enough to fit into a backpack. Good starter bag if you want to dabble in backpacking, or simply want a good bag to stay warm in

car camping bag but not backpacking bag

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I like this bag but it wasn't what I was looking for. It said it was down its actually synthetic. It said it goes up to 6ft but actually it is only up to 5'8'' and too short for me who is 5'8''. It looks like a great quality bag and but I was shopping for a lightweight bag for backpacking and this bag is better for car camping. Good bag just not what I was looking for. I returned it before using it.
