Chilliwack Pant

The drive from Seattle to Anchorage is an adventure in and of itself, so the next time you decide to tackle the Alcan Highway, make sure you wear your ultra-rugged, super-durable Kavu Chilliwack Pants. Should you decide to stop for a hike near Hope, BC, the pants’ sturdy cotton canvas fabric provides a tough barrier between your skin and the thorny Devil’s Club underbrush. When it comes time to nap next to the sign-post forest in Watson Lake, YK, the Chilliwacks’ pajama-like feel provides serious comfort as you cram your tired body in the back of your pickup truck. And even though you’ve already been at it for three days, the Chilliwacks don’t mind pushing through another night to knock out that long stretch between Whitehorse and the Alaskan border.

              Not accurately sized

              • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
              • Fit: Runs small

I'm a 33 and the Medium was way too tight in the waist and the legs. I had to return the item.

              Great Pant, Runs Small

              • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
              • Fit: Runs small
              • Size Bought: medium

These pants are a very durable thick pant, but at the same time very comfortable. I would suggest ordering a size bigger than what your normal waist size would be. This does not mean the pant is tight or "skinny legged." I have minimal hours in them, but I know I will reach for them regularly. I would also love to add that I had to return mine for next size up and Austin My "GearHead" made this extremely painless! hats off to the customer service I was provided!! Had the correct size to my house 2 DAYS LATER with a return label, does not get any better! Thanks

              Skinny Legs

              • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
              • Fit: Runs small

Only a model would have skinny legs to fit these. Anyone athletic enough to ski or bike will not fit the thighs.

              KAVU Chilliwack Pant

The KAVU Goodman Shirt and the Chilliwack Pants

                KAVU Chilliwack Pant

                Pretty okay

                • Familiarity: I've used it several times
                • Fit: Runs small

Corse material, somewhat stiff. Cool design with not much practicality. They will hold up well, good for camping and roughing up.

                • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
                • Fit: Runs small

Love these pants once you beat the he!! out of them. I am between a L and XL (I am 6'1" 220...with thighs of a NFL linebacker)so I recently bought large, didn't fit, returned them. Owned 2 pair (L) and have had them for about 4 years and they are in the normal rotation because they are broken in (but a little short so I don't wear them as much).

Also, buyer beware. Make sure the color you choose is the color you really want. Tobacco is brown, not normal khaki color so that may mislead you as different websites will display the wrong picture for the color names.

All in all, good quality pants. Just be aware of what you're buying.

                Outside TV "Branded" : Kavu

Kavu understands the needs of their customers because they get out and do the same thing: play hard, get dirty, and have fun doing it. This has allowed them to create functional and durable clothing without sacrificing fashion.

                  Killer pants

                  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
                  • Fit: True to size

Absolutely love these pants. Ordered another pair as soon as I wore my first pair one time. Canvas material is tough, but comfortable. I wear these to the bouldering gym because they have a little give. 6'2", 190 lbs, waist size 33 and the large fits well.

                          Comfortable pants, annoying velcro

Soft but durable pants. Very comfortable. They have velcro patches on the back pockets to keep them secured. The velcro's really strong (maybe just my pair?) and both ripped off after a few months from attaching/detaching to use pockets. I actually like them better without the velcro. I'm 6'1" 175 lbs and usually wear 32x32. The mediums are on the shorter side, but fit well.

                            Comfortable pants, annoying velcro

                            Soft, comfy, and good!

                            • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Some restating of what others have said. I'm almost the definition of M (in my mind); 32 " waist, 30" inseam, big thighs and butt. I got the small, it fits very well. Yes the back pockets look weird, but 1) my wife likes them 2) I can move the wallet around so I'm not perched on it while driving. I find them to be very soft and yet strong, and they have taken over from my similar Cloudveil pants. Overall, pretty darn happy although I haven't yet had the crotch splitting that others have noted.

                            How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Measure loosely around the thickest part of your neck (near the base).
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Have a friend measure from your center back to your wrist.
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
