A bright and comfy boot for dreary days.

Kamik gave the sleek and stylish Women’s Heidi Boot just the right outsole for traction on rain-slick surfaces. A smooth, lightweight PVC upper adds some shine to the bleak city streets, and the slightly raised one-inch heel means you still look more like a lady than an Alaskan fisherman. Comfy footbeds and fully waterproof outers make the Heidi Boot your new favorite boot for walking through the park on a wet day. 11-Inch shafts hit just below the knee.

low tide

I bought these to wear to the beach during low tide while walking the dog. Comfortable and have not had any problems with leaks.

    Love these boots!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

These boots fit perfect! I wear a 7 1/2 and ordered an 8. They are just big enough around the calf to tuck pants into them. Very comfortable to walk around in!

I usually don't write reviews but felt this product was worthy. This is my first pair of rain boots purchased to wear in rain or snow when I ride the bus to work and walk my dogs. Its been very cold in the Northeast and with a wool sock, my feet are toasty warm. I have a narrow foot and was pleasantly surprised that I didn't walk out of the heel. The front part of the boot is well suited for a narrow foot and hugs my arch so even though the heel slips a bit, I don't walk out of the boot. I would recommend these boots for people with narrow or medium width but not good for wide widths. They are very comfortable and I love the cherry red color! Have been using them in snowy conditions and the traction is amazing--have not slipped once! In my opinion these boots are a terrific value for the price with the added benefit of style. Also they are not heavy. The red color is actually more of a cherry red than as it appears fire engine red in the photo.

    Great boots!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These are pretty and comfortable boots. I normally wear an 8.5 but sized up so I could wear thicker socks. They are a bit bigger than I expected but will still work well for me.

    Would these boots pack easily?

Love the boot not the color.

I read in the reviews that this was more of a candy apple red but I was disappointed that to me seemed more wine. I loved the fit, I normally wear a 7-1/2 in shoes but I always order an 8 in boots.

I normally wear a size 7.5 or 8, but I've read a lot of reviews and some say "Go a size up!" and others say "They're true to size!" Would going up to a 9 be a smart move, or should I stick with 8?

I would recommend trying out a size 8 first! If those are still too small, we can most definitely get you set up with an exchange for a larger size

Is the red more of a maroon color

Is the red more of a maroon color

I have seen these boots in person, and while I wouldn't call it a maroon it is a kind of "apple" red, just a little lighter than how it appears in the picture here.

What the shaft height, circumference and weight of the Heidi?

      Hey Bromley,

The shaft height on these boots is 11 inches and it has a 14 inch circumference.

Are the Heidi Rain Boots lined? If so, with what?

There is no liner to these boots besides the Kamik footbed.

      Great boots!

Great quality boots. My daughter has worn them and they seem to keep her feet dry. Love the yellow!

I am looking into these boots for "clean the creek" events. Has anyone used them in higher levels or water (more then just a puddle but still below knee level) and exited with completely dry feet?

That only happens in an alternate universe. By the time you bend, reach, move, splash...you always get water inside your boots. If it's something you'll be doing a lot, get a pair of fisherman's hip waders if you want to stay dry. If you don't mind getting wet, but still want some protection for your feet, get a pair of water shoes. Plan C is to bring an extra dry pair of socks, shoes and a towel, because Murphy's Law guarantees that you'll either get water in your boots yourself or someone will do it for you.

        Great boots!

These boots are stylish, lightweight, and comfortable. I like to wear them with a pair of socks for added comfort. I can wear them for hours around the house without my feet hurting.

          Stylish, awesome

I've read a lot about Kamiks and seen then in stores, was so excited to have my own pair. First off, I love the fact that they are made in Montreal (being from Montreal I like supporting a local business!)and they are environmentally conscious. You can send your worn boots in for them to melt down and reuse. All of their black matte boots and soles are made from that recycled rubber. Kamik boots are extremely well constructed, you can tell it's a high quality product that stands out from other rain boots by its high gloss shine and well molded contour. There are "How it's made" videos on Youtube and on Kamik's website showing how this footwear is produced which makes it even more interesting to own a pair.

I love how stylish these look, definitely not your farmer's or fishermen boots. They fit well although I suggest going a size up. I typically wear a 9 or 9.5 and had to get these in 10. I'm able to tuck my skinny jeans in and they feel comfy around my calves. Kamik makes a taller model as well as a wider width model of this exact rain boot by the way. The only drawback is that the bigger your size, the heavier the boot. I wore these for a good 10 hours both indoors in the office and outside and felt that my feet dragged a bit, maybe something to get used to. However, they are lighter in weight compared to many rubber boots that have a chunkier heel.

I would recommend these because they're lovely, Canadian, and obviously keep your feet dry.

            The price is right

I settled on these rain boots after some research into more trendy (re: expensive) options. I ended up buying these on a whim, and I have been very happy with them. They are warmer than I expected - a good thing. I haven't walked for more than a mile or so in them, but they seem like they'd be comfortable enough to walk longer distances. Would definitely recommend the jolly yellow color!

I wear 8.5 in shoes. What size would be best? I have read the reviews and I was wondering.

            Boots, boots, boots

I love these boots! They are extremely comfortable and form fitting. I got the classic yellow look, and I am completely and utterly in love with them.

I usually wear a 9.5/10. Most of the other rain boots I've seen fit a size smaller. Is that the case with these?

Reviews say the fit is pretty on point

Heidi - Black Patent Leather - Great Rain Boot!

Love these boots! Light weight and yet durable with good traction. I bought these boots to wear to the kids' football and soccer games - feet stayed dry and warm (because I bought one size larger so that I can wear thick socks). I'm only 5'1" and I liked the fact that these boots were the perfect height! Would highly recommend them! (Note: I tried the Kamik boots in a store so that I knew what size to get online).
