Medium Snowboard

From the streets all around the world to the toughest terrain parks, Jake Kuzyk has been dominating the freestyle game for more than a decade, using his creative mindset to find lines that other riders don't look for. Working closely with K2 to design an twin snowboard for freestyle-focused riding, Jake has put his thoughts and needs into the Medium Snowboard for all-mountain domination, for park to powder and beyond.

A medium flex kicks things off and is quite appropriate for the name of the board. This creates a stable ride at higher speeds or for bigger landings, but is still easy to manipulate for pressing on rails and buttering in powder. The Twin Camber Baseline consists of a large cambered section from contact point to contact point, and a hint of rocker on the tip and tail which creates a powerful, controlled ride that still floats in powder and adds some forgiveness when you're going big. K2 blended 3 different renewable woods to offer a lightweight package that has a lively feel, without sacrificing strength. An Ollie Bar runs between the inserts for added power and explosive pop, and a Carbon Darkweb
lay-up adds energy and helps with transitioning from edge to edge . The triax fiberglass laminate helps torsional rigidity for increased stability, and the Sintered 4000 base keeps you blasting through powder and slush. Finally, the artwork was done by Russ Pope, heavily influenced by art and skateboarding and compliments Jake's style of riding.
