K2's most playful powder plank, the Catamaran surfs down soft snow as if the big mountain were the world's largest wave. Its Powder Rocker profile provides effortless flotation in soft, deep powder. The heavily rockered tip and tail initiate catch-free turning for that surfy, playful feel, and there's a bit of camber underfoot to help you jump in and out of deep powder at each turn. To further blend the edge hold and surfy combination these sticks feature non-symmetrical taper that extends the engaged edge for added power, without hurting maneuverability. Meanwhile the 120mm waist certainly makes the Catamaran a powder-hungry plank, and it would be the widest option from most ski companies, but this is actually the second-widest ski in K2's collection.
