JulboVenturi Zebra Antifog Photochromic Sunglasses

Clarity for dirt and pavement.

The Julbo Venturi Zebra Antifog Photochromic Sunglasses are the result of close collaboration between Venturi's designers and trail running team. An anti-fog coating keeps your field of vision clear as you work up a sweat, and the Grip Tech temples ensure the glasses don't slide down your face. Their fully vented design allows for ample airflow. The curved, wrapping fit provides a panoramic field of vision; meanwhile, the photochromic lenses adjust to the ever-changing light conditions, so you're always ready for what's ahead.

Decent for MTB

The glasses stay put nicely when riding chunky sections of trail. Night vision is pretty clear and the glasses don't appear to darken anything at all when it's dark out. They do a decent job during the day but don't expect the photochromic lens to darken brightness too much when the sun is facing you. I mainly got these for afternoon/evening ride eye protection anyway so I'm happy. The price point is good, but if your activity is strictly day time maybe there's something better out there but I'm keeping mine so I'll never know. The zippered soft case it came with makes for a nice place to store things but it's a little bulky just for storing the glasses.

    Great for cycling

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

Anti fog and photochromic are two vital features needed when riding. These seem to vent really well and transition with light pretty quickly. I would recommend to a friend!

This was a bit of a long shot for me, it's definitely hard to pick glasses for mountain biking - there's so many. My buddy who mountain bikes basically every day told me to get these. Total impulse buy based on his suggestion. Definitely paid off. They're crazy light, I forget that they're on my face. I only get out one or two times a week, so don't call me an expert but I would definitely recommend them. Oh, dropped them once and my buddy ran over them, thought I was done for, they were perfectly fine.
