The only goggle I need
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I've used these in dumping storms and sunny days and never touched the lens. Photochromatic is the way to go if you don't want to change out lenses all the time. I went with the Zebra Red lens, they change with the light perfectly, no glare or squinting in full sun and crisp in fog and dumping storms. Remarkable tech! There're 3 beads of silicone on the strap so I can adjust the tension without moving the buckle which sits on either side of my helmet keeper. I thought the XXL would be too big but these ride perfectly on my nose without pinching it closed and there's ample downward view with enough room at the top of my helmet for ventilation without brain freeze. They fit more like XL. Nothing to say about fog because there was none. I originally had the Aerospace model which will be nice for up tracks but I wanted to save some coin for other gear. BC was cool with the exchange and their staff was far better than another UT online retailer about letting me try on all of their photochromatic brands. It's also comforting to know my $100+ investment is backed by a Lifetime Warrantee.

Not sure how they work. Came with scratches on lens straight out of the box. They do run big."xxl" didn't see this on detail when I put in medium on "filter"
Great goggles!
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Upgraded from some very old, mangy Oakleys and absolutely love these! They're large and very comfortable on the face, breathe well and have no fog issues whatsoever. So far only used these a few days in fair-to-moderate conditions, 15-30 degrees, partly cloudy to sunny with wind and occasional snow. Not amazing definition in bad lighting but I have yet to try a goggle that is. Fits well over a helmet and the silicone strips help the strap stay put. Looks good too!
One note--these are a bit large so if you have a low-riding helmet you may have some issues with the bridge pushing down over your nose. Also I didn't notice anyone else on the mountain sporting this brand so if you like to stand out from the crowd you may find that an added bonus!
