Awesome Glasses

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought these glasses specifically for use on Mt. Rainier. I summited towards the end of June this year. These glasses were great for the first day and a half. After coming down from the summit, my eyes started to hurt and I couldn't see many colors (other than gray). It is not the fault of the glasses, but my very own. Other than that, I use these bad boys every day. I use them when hiking, climbing, or just driving to work.
I bought the black and red ones. Very stylish. I have had multiple compliments on them. If you are looking for glasses to really protect your eyes from the sun, I highly recommend these.
They do work well on glaciers and are rated for such, I think I just had some issues because my face is shaped weird and the glasses kept moving up, leaving a little space for light to reflect from underneath.

Awesome

My husband was very happy about this gift.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I didn't realize how bad my old, scratched-up sunglasses were- until I donned a pair of these sweet shades. I primarily use the Stunt Sunglasses for mountain biking, due to their grippy temples that fit great with a helmet. And although not polarized (at least this particular version), the Spectron 3+ lens delivers crystal clarity in super-bright conditions, with plenty of contrast and accurate color rendition. Best of all, they're relatively affordable, especially compared to well-known competitors.

    Awesome Shades

I own several pairs of Oakleys and Smiths but these have become my go-to shades. They're lightweight and comfy. The lenses are great for a wide range of light and they don't fatigue my eyes over time. Pick these up and learn why it's so popular with European guides!

      Any stunt will do.

Julbo may have designed the Stunt Sunglasses for mountain biking, but I find them convenient for any active endeavor. The frame feels super comfortable and light for day-long adventures, and the lenses are staying crystal clear despite the terrible way I treat them. The Grips secure the Stunt to my face when I'm sweating and looking down for feet, and I'll update this comment if the sunglasses ever slip off my face. I have a large face, and the Stunt's size fits perfectly.

        Any stunt will do.

        Great for biking

Nice coverage and slim temples for fit with helmet. Lens is great for lots of light conditions and enhances visibility on the trail. Griptech stuff is pretty tacky so you never need to worry about slips. Pretty flashy too!
