Pedal to the fishing spot.
Catch the biggest fish using foot propulsion with the Jackson Coosa FD Kayak with Flex Drive. A wide, stable hull and 11ft 2in length allow the Coosa to perform well on both rivers and lakes. With a sit-on-top design, the boat is stable enough to stand on while fishing, but it is also fitted with a hi/lo seating system that allows you to pop a squat when your legs get tired. While seated, the Elite Seat 2.0 keeps your back cool while you paddle around on hot and muggy bass waters thanks to a breathable 3D mesh fabric. A Therm-a-Rest pad provides additional lumbar support, so your back will be ready for another full day behind the paddle. And by using the FD, you can propel with your feet, leaving your hands free to cast, reel, and retrieve all the whoppers that are just a feet below.
- A river and flatwater fishing kayak for nimble pursuits
- Flex Drive lets you propel with your feet
- Wide hull area increases stability while casting and paddling

- Q & A
Is there a rudder system on this Jackson Coosa FD?
Hey Rick. According to Jackson's site - Dual Rudder Installed - Rudder Type: Integrated Hand-Operated Slide Control - http://jacksonkayak.com/blog/kayak/coosa-fd/
Is there a built in spot for a transducer?
Hey Dean, Jackson is intending for you to use the two scupper holes right in front of your seat for the transducer. But there is not a molded place for the battery box like the Coosa HD. Originally it was where the pedal drive system is on this boat with a specific transducer hole. If you have any other questions feel free to reach out via the information listed above.
Is this kayak 11'2" or 12'7' shows one size in description then the other in specs?
Hey Tom, it looks like there was a typo in the description but the boat is in fact 12'7". If you have any other questions feel free to reach out via the information listed above.
