If your rides consist of rooty treelines, boosty flow trials, or bouldery rock gardens, there's a good chance you've shredded a pair — or three of your favorite baggies (not to mention your skin underneath). Snag a pair of durable shorts that can hold up to the abuse of rocks, branches, and mud with the iXS Asper 6.1 Shorts for your next ride. Made from a burly blend of nylon and polyester, these shorts are abrasion resistant, and still offer a generous 4-way stretch, so they don't sacrifice range of motion for durability.

The Asper 6.1 shorts want you to throw your bike around with confidence, offering you the freedom of movement you need, and room for protection underneath in case you case-it when you're pushing the limits. The nylon shell on these shorts sees a treatment with a mud-resistant coating that sheds showers and grime to keep you from feeling soggy when you get hit with a pocket-storm mid ride. Nylon and polyester fabrics work together to wick away moisture as well, so when your ride gets a bit pedal-heavy you can keep dry on the inside, too.

  • Attack the trail with confidence from burly shorts
  • Tough nylon-polyester blend is abrasion resistant
  • Environmentally conscious PET polyester construction
  • Treated to shed mud and showers with ease to keep dry
  • 4-way stretch moves with you on the trail
  • Loose cut offers room for all of your protection

Nice shorts, great price.

These are well priced and well made. Great shorts for general trail riding with generous front pockets. Love the adjustable waist and the high back.

    True size and comfortable

Really well made nice shorts, odd sizing

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

The construction and materials of the Asper short seem to be top notch. It looks as if it would be a great short that would last for a long time. I would have kept them but the sizing did not seem to work for me. The waist fits true to size and I like that they fit a little higher in the back so you don't get plumbers crack while you try and pedal. The problem I ran into was with the legs of the shorts. They seemed to fit a little to snug around the thigh.
