Nomad 125 Ski

As the fattest ski in Icelantic's freeride-oriented Nomad lineup, the Nomad 125 Ski is well equipped for the deepest powder the winter brings. The huge 125 millimeter waist provides ample float and stomp-able forgiveness on mind-blowingly deep days. To continue this same trend of handling deep snow the 125 is equipped with the only full rocker profile found in the Nomad line, this enables it to be pivoted on a dime all over the mountain while simultaneously enhancing float. Finally the tight turn radius helps you break the tips and tails free for quick slashes and adjustments so that you can make your dream powder line a reality.

Handmade in Colorado, the Nomad is built using Icelantic's Bombproof construction. The layup of a playful and lightweight poplar and paulownia core sandwiched between unilateral fiberglass results in a ski that's stiff enough to charge down open bowls but playful enough to slash turns through the trees. Meanwhile the vertical sidewalls and Tri-Axe fiberglass ensure the ski stays torsionally strong so you can trust your edge hold when you are hammering a hard turn in dicey conditions. Toss in a slightly beefed up edge and super fast sintered base and you have a ski that will let you reach your potential all over the mountain.
