IcebreakerStratus Full-Zip Fleece Jacket - Women's

Full-throttle versatility.

The sky is the limit when you wear the Icebreaker Women's Stratus Full-Zip Fleece Jacket. Designed to tackle backcountry touring, hiking, backpacking, and just about everything else you throw at it, the Stratus features an adaptive construction that makes it ideal for stop-and-go, cold weather pursuits.

More specifically, the Stratus is equipped with a breathable and lightweight polyester exterior that's backed by MerinoLOFT insulation. This wool insulation touts a high warmth-to-weight ratio, extreme breathability, and water-resistance, which means you stay comfortable and warm even when wet. Additionally, MerinoLOFT is naturally odor-resistant so you can forget about smelling like a gym locker room at the end of your adventure. An extra layer of merino wool on the interior of the jacket wicks away the build up of moisture and dries quickly, while the internal cuffs bolster warmth. Not to mention, two zippered hand pockets provide cozy respite for cold hands on chilly winter days.

Icebreaker's updated version of the Stratus Jacket is the best yet. The chevron-like seaming is very flattering. You can't go wrong with grown-up colors like the Admiral and Redwood featured in our new collection. We've kept the full 180gm wool insulation in the body and 100gm in the sleeves. The interior is 100% merino woven lining, a 100% recycled poly outer will help shed rain and sleet. The main updates to this piece are the refined fit in the shoulders and the mid section. It offers a more shapely fit than it's predecessor, yet still roomy enough to layer sweaters. There are plenty of pockets on this piece to store all the goodies, including an internal stash pocket large enough for a passport and more. This piece works casually, on the slopes, or even on a hike. Sweating in Icebreaker is also a non-issue. Merino maintains it's insulating properties even when wet, and it won't get stinky like a synthetic. Win-win!
