Best trackie pants by miles

Too thin. quality decreased
i bought these pants several fimes over the last 10 years and icebreaker decreased the quality. it used to be nice thick and warm and 100 percent merino but now it is way too thin. cheap and only 88 percent merino. very disssappinting.

Equivalent to Crush pants, but with better pockets
As a woman, I initially purchased the Crush pants, which are the women's equivalent to the Shifter pants (without the high waist that the Crush pants have). The staff in-store suggested I try the men's version, which has much deeper pockets than the Crush pant (Icebreaker, women need good pockets too!). I have about a 38" low hip width and prefer a relaxed fit, so got the men's medium. Normally I would be a women's small in pants. Even the men's small in this pant I found a little snug. I have been wearing these now for a couple of months and love them. The fabric is incredibly comfortable, warm, and breathable. They don't show a lot of dirt or attract much lint, and don't need constant washing. I am always reaching for them.

First impressions
Feels fantastic at first wear. The fit is what I expected, on the tight side so I ordered one size up, I am short and these are not overly long. Price tag, yes its steep compared with to ordinary sweatpants. But I can defend the price for: the material, the fit, and they can definately be doubled as long johns. So for me these are two in one. The question I have now, will these stand up to everyday use. Time will tell.

They are so comfortable

Perfect for lounging or as long underwear
I have 2 pairs of the women's crush pants. When I realized that these are the men's equivalent of those pants, I bought a pair for my husband and he has worn them every day since because they're so comfortable. Different style, but exactly the same material and same versatility. They're great for lounging and as long underwear. So, they're great for travelling in cooler weather because they do double duty. We'll both be taking our merino sweatpants on our next trip.
