Warm, soft, thin glove

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I purchased this glove to use for the uphills while ski touring, and it's been fantastic. My hands stay warm and the dexterity is great for getting into your pack or adjusting things without taking them off. These are great for winter running or even just for driving on cold mornings.

Great cool-weather glove

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These gloves are great for cold weather. They aren't bulky nor are they super insulated. These would be great to use in the fall or early spring.

Perfect Shoulder Season Glove

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I wear the Quantum glove on pretty much all my morning or evening high altitude runs during the fall and spring. It's great as a standalone glove for mildly cold runs/hikes, or works amazing as a thicker liner under ski gloves. The material is soft, warm for it's weight, warm when wet, though a bit fragile. I don't recommend any type of scrambling or contact with rocks (granite especially) or you'll shred these babies.

I'd like to buy this glove. Is large the biggest size they sell them in? Don't see XL.

Great Light Glove!

These are the perfect light glove for hiking, touring, cross country skiing, or running in the cold. They're light enough to be a liner, but heavy enough to function on their own for cold weather.

Your hands need a base layer too

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have used these gloves on chilly hikes, walks, runs, camping, and as a liner under a heavier glove. They perform great in all applications and particularly excel with a more aerobic activity like running. I really enjoy the silicone grips for added dexterity.
I typically wear a size 6 glove and the small fits very well, an XS would probably work for me as well.

    Great for Camping and running!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

You know when you go camping in the fall and your hands are slightly chilled and you don't want to do anything? These are the gloves for you. They are made out of Merino wool so you know they are going to be super warm and also wick all the moisture so your hands do not freeze. If you are looking for a pair of gloves for camping or running these will be awesome I use them for both.

    Maybe the perfect running glove...

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Certainly these Icebreaker Quantum gloves are the best running gloves I've ever owned. There's no wind resistant layer, which tends to make my hands overheat and get sweaty. These things just keep the hands from freezing on your way out the door, and then regulate well once the heat starts to build up inside. Grip is nice for things like door handles or car steering wheels. And, wool, baby. There's no substitute for natural materials, they're just the best!

    Perfect for Cross Country Skiing

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is a perfect set of gloves for cross-country skiing. These thin but warm gloves let you put pole grips around your hands for a good fit and stay on the skate track all day.

These are must haves for any poles with integrated hand grips!

    sharp shootin'

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought these to wear as a liner glove under mittens while shooting photos in the winter and skiing. They are a great fit, not too thin, and not too bulky. Fit nicely under my mittens, and give me plenty of grip to work with them on.

Your hands will say thank you

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

You know when you run and its cold and your hands need gloves? These are the gloves for you. They are made out of Merino wool so you know they are going to be super warm and also wick all the moisture so your hands do not freeze. If you are looking for a pair of gloves for running these will be awesome.
