Wearability in all climates
I live on the Gold Coast and assumed that wool would not be suitable for our warmer weather, this shirt is perfect for most temperatures , long sleeves for sun protection, crew neck for the casual look and as a bottom layer with my Icebreaker short sleeve vest on cool or windy nights. I bought the navy stripe as well which looks dressy for restaurants Perfect for travelling the world

Underarm bliss
Love this “relaxed fit” previously unable to wear merino baselayers as I don’t wear anti perspirant only deodorant and the snug underarms get damp and unpleasant, with this top there’s lots of underarm breathing room. Very soft, light and non itchy. The Breton like design stops it looking like obvious sports wear

A great fit, no sweat!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely delighted with this top, I actually have the blue and white but thinking too buy this colour as well! I’ve always seen the logic to wearing several thin layers rather than one thick to keep warm and merino seems very sensible for this but trying conventional base layers has one issue, I don’t wear anti perspirant, only deodorant and most tops are very tight to my under arm..this leads to unfortunate consequences (I’ll leave it to your imagination) even if I size up the problem persists and the fit looks unflattering. I’m so pleased icebreaker now has this “relaxed fit” even the small size is well away from my pits so I can layer up care free. This top is so fine knit, it can be worn in warmer seasons too has a great shape for me and the Breton style looks less obviously sporty/good for casual wear.

Wear it whenever
