- Q & A
Best soft flask
I ordered and tried out nearly every type of soft flask on the market, and tried them for running, hiking, and inline speed-skating. The Hydrapak Ultraflask is by far my favorite, and I've since ordered multiples, so that I always have a couple of fresh ones on hand. I kind of hate bite valves, but this one seems easier to use. With some soft flasks, it take more work to squeeze out the last third of the liquid. But the design and material of the Hydrapak makes it easy to get all of the water out. The fact that they're top-shelf dishwasher safe is a big deal, as I sometimes use them with hydration mixes.
Whether itâs trails, rivers or slopes, nutrition is just a bite away. The collapsible, lightweight SoftFlask 250 is easy to fill and even easier to consume with our patented soft silicone bite valve. It can be integrated into a variety of packs, vests, belts, even PFDs. And since it holds 8.5 fl oz of your favorite nutrition concoction, you can go the distance without running out.
