A Whole New Game.

Whether you run because you enjoy races or simply to maintain the health of your body, a solid pair of running shoes can make all the difference. So regardless of your reasoning behind going out for a cruise, the Hoka One One Women's Clifton 4 Running Shoe is designed to ensure you stay well supported and comfortable as you enjoy and rack up the miles.

If you're unfamiliar with Hoka One One's beloved Clifton, suffice it to say it's a versatile neutral shoe that offers an extremely plush feel underfoot. However, if you had an unsavory experience with or read some negative reviews over the Clifton 3, know that the Clifton 4 features a bevy of changes. To start, the Clifton 4 is equipped with a wider midfoot for enhanced comfort, while the newly redesigned mesh upper offers enhanced breathability and a better overall fit. Additionally, the improved EVA midsole maintains longevity and has better energy return than the Clifton 3, so you're able to uptick the miles and enjoy the ride. And, in typical Hoka One One fashion, the Clifton 4 is endowed with the Meta Rocker geometry, which propels your stride, and a 5mm drop maintains that low-impact feel you've come to know and love from Hoka.

  • A lightweight road shoe for running varied distances
  • Mesh upper features plush collar for comfort
  • Widened midfoot prevents blisters or hot spots
  • Well-balanced midsole maintains shock attenuation
  • Rubber outsole doesn't obstruct lightweight feel

Getting back into running

Recently got these for my mom who is trying to get back into running after a few years off due to hip issues. So far she has been super happy with them as the cushion has allowed her to reduce the impact on her joints, but dont let the cushion sacrifice good form! Having super breathable shoes was also important to her as she lives in Virginia. She found the sizing to be spot on even tough she has a narrow foot.

    Running on Clouds

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'm not a fast runner, nor a competitive runner by any means - I like to run once or twice a week on the roads around my house just to get out and enjoy the peaceful canyon I live in. These are perfect for my little jaunts from the cabin, the plush underfoot really helps me with my knee issues I normally have while running. The fit is true-to-size and I these even give you a little "push" forward with each step - due to the shape of the bottom slope. Would recommend these to anyone!

Not as plush as past models

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Overall I'm pretty happy with my new Cliftons. They run true to size and Hoka is getting better about not being so narrow. I like having a 5mm drop shoe to rotate into my routine. My only complaint is that for as much foam is under my foot, they aren't really that plush. I had a previous model of the Clifton and I remember running in them and it truly felt like I had little pillows on my feet. It was especially nice on long runs and days I was sore/fatigued. I don't feel that same "ahhh" with this new model. The foam is very firm. 3 stars because I was looking for that super plush feeling.

    High School Track & Cross-country

I bought these for my daughter who is a freshman in high school. She says they fit true to size. Here is her review: "I have been running in these shoes for almost 3 weeks and I love them so far. They are great for my style of running and the distances I do each week. I run high school distance track and have had issues with my knees and shins in some shoes, but not these."

      caused pain

Im a Hoka One One fan but This Model should be recalled , it causes pain and damage to the foot and the entire leg , other reviews elsewhere also said that .
