HestraMorrison Pro Model Glove - Men's

Good enough for Seth.

Hestra's Morrison Pro Model Glove might not give you the skills or the cojones to ski like Seth, but you can at least enjoy the same level of warmth and protection that he does. The Morrison's cowhide upper and army leather palm provide burly, but seriously supple, protection, and the CZone waterproof and breathable membrane keeps your hands dry when you're digging pits, hucking cliffs, and popping open celebratory brews after another successful day getting rowdy. Even Seth can get cold fingers, so Hestra packed the Morrison with toasty Thermolite insulation, and finished the cuff off with a hook-and-loop closure to make sure pow doesn't sneak in and send you back to the heli with cold and wet digits.

May have to size up

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have been running gauntlet style gloves for last few years and decided I wanted something undercuff for the quiver to mix it up.

The issue I ran into is that with the padding and such, the glove fits about one size tighter compared with my other hestras. In my case, I find the size 10 Morrison is running similar fit to my size 9 Helis.

I went glove version on this, since I just felt like 3 finger was more appropriate for a gauntlet design like the Heli.

If I remember, will add to the review once I have some significant time with them on the mountain.

Crem de la crem

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These gloves are amazing once broken in. They are a bit stiff OTB, but will soften over time. Zipper ensures you can get a very snug fit, while being able to put them on/off pretty easily. Can still be a tricky with sweaty hand. They are very warm-- too warm for many days-- so buy accordingly.

The best

I have the 3 finger Hestras and had to get these. I've worn Hestra gloves for many seasons and for me they have the best quality, protection, and warmth. Can't wait to put these to use this season

Good not great

Fit true to size in length, a bit tight to squeeze into. The Morrison's with the zipper are way easier to get on and off and simply broke in much nicer. Kept my hands warm hiking/sending flute bowl at Whistler. I expected to get a bit more bang for my buck.
