Firsttrack Lifaloft Jacket

There's nothing like getting fresh tracks on a pow-day morning, but the thing about pow-day mornings is that they're usually pretty darn cold. Luckily, when you've got on the Helly Hansen Firsttrack Lifaloft Jacket you'll have the lightweight yet powerful insulation you need to get as many laps in as you can while the getting's still good. Developed in tandem with PrimaLoft, perhaps the biggest name in synthetic insulation, Lifaloft is designed to be both warmer and more lightweight than standard polyester insulation, giving you extra warmth for frigid days without adding any extra bulk. And while you're slashing snow and generally tearing it up on the slopes you'll stay nice and dry thanks to the Helly Tech membrane, which keeps out moisture from falling snow and rainbowing powder slashes. A helmet-compatible hood ensures that weather protection never comes at the cost of head protection, and underarm vents provide quick and effective heat-release after grueling (yet wonderful) runs through deep, snowy woods.

  • Ski jacket with lightweight insulation for frigid powder days
  • Waterproof membrane shuts out snow when you're catching fresh tracks
  • Lifaloft insulation offers powerful heat without the weight
  • Underarm vents dump heat quickly after tough tree lines
  • High-visibility hood fits easily over your helmet in windy weather
  • Special insulated pocket keeps your phone charged as you shred
  • Stretch fabric makes it easy to move on challenging bump runs

Totally tricked out. I like it.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XL

HH has thought about everything on this jacket and it keeps you warm. Too much to mention. The only Con for me is you that can't stow away the hood.
