Why We Like The Kore 87 Ski

Front side skis are readily available and can often be difficult to differentiate. We like the Head Kore 87 Ski because it brings a high quality lightweight construction to a modern frontside shape, the result is a highly responsive, damp, durable, and fun pair of skis. The 86mm waist will take you from fresh groomers to boot top pow with ease, while the combination of rocker and camber will ensure you get away with a few mistakes and can constantly hold an edge. Meanwhile it is the combination of a Karuba core, graphene, and carbon fiber that really made us stand up and take notice of these sticks.

  • Versatile frontside ski that brings control, stability, and fun
  • Thinner waist width allows you to move from edge to edge with ease
  • Short turn radius offers effortlessly nimble control in tight areas
  • Rocker in the tip and tail offers forgiveness while transitioning
  • Camber underfoot drives power to your edges for excellent edge hold
  • Sandwich cap construction blends weight savings with stability
  • Karuba core keeps things lighweight, damp, and responsive
  • Sintered bases skip effortlessly over long cat tracks

    Recommended Sizing Guide

Your ski size is largely determined by both your skiing ability and your preferred style of skiing. For example, an expert skier in Vermont will ski a far different ski than an expert in British Columbia. So take a look at our chart and explanations and find your perfect fit. Your weight also plays a large factor in finding the right ski. If you are either under or over average weight for your height consider downsizing or upsizing, respectively.
