Great piece for cold weather

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: XL

First, get the right size. Purchase a size larger than your normal US size. I usually wear a size Large in all US branded items but take an XL in most EU goods. Haglofs is no exception. 5'11", weigh 210, 35 sleeve length, 16.5 neck and 36 waist and XL is great. Great soft textured fabric. Think of it kind of like being a shirt made from Polartec fleece. Warm. but not too warm. Paired with a puffy jacket or vest you'll be good for when Mother Nature comes calling in the Winter time. I like wearing this with my cargo pants. I don't think I would go hiking in them, but would certainly take it with me hiking in the Alps for when I'm in a hut or cruising Chamonix. And you get the usual great European look and style.

Great piece for cold weather

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

You know when you find a piece of clothing or a t-shirt that fits so well that you buy multiple? Well that happened here. The shirt fits really long which is great for hanging in and as a layering piece. It is nice and light so should work well for multiple seasons or uses.

New Favorite shirt

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

This shirt is a bit 'fleecier' than I was expecting and it is warmer than I was expecting but it has quickly become my new favorite shirt. I'm 6'3" (190cm) and 198lbs, reasonably fit build. I bought the Large and it fits perfectly. The sleeve length is good, I often find the sleeves are short on shirts I buy. The body fit is not too tight but it is a fitted fit (if that makes sense) rather than hanging like a bag. The shirt length is also good, like the sleeves, I often find shirts are a bit short for me. This is my first Haglofs purchase, I wear a lot of Norrona and Peak Performance gear. I'm very happy with the quality.
