Light is right and oh so nice, but it's also fun to be able to ride your skis as hard as you ride the mechanical bull at your favorite western-themed bar. The Hagan Ski Mountaineering Core TF Alpine Touring Boot, hovering around a feathery 2.5lb per boot, gives rando-specific boots a good run for their money in the weight department while the substantial 110 flex rating is considerably more fun on the downhill. Thanks to the three-piece, anatomically correct shell and upper cuff design, these boots let you enjoy a full 60 degrees of ankle rotation when you're setting up the skin track. You can lock down the Multi Deflect Buckle System, which utilizes an extra-wide power strap and single wire buckle, in order to to provide optimal power distribution to the shell and foot security whether you're scrambling on technical terrain or picking your way down a steep couloir. Thermomoldable liners made from closed-cell EVA foam shave 60g off previous models, while providing unparalleled warmth and full-contact comfort.
