Inertia describes a tendency of an object to do nothing, so you might be confused why the Gregory Inertia 15L 3D-Hydro Reservoir Backpack is the perfect thing for your always-active lifestyle. Well that confusion should clear right up once you put it on. It's designed with a supportive and comfortable suspension system that features breathable foam shoulder and hip straps, a breathable back panel, and load lifters at the yoke that adjust the pack closer to the body for a more supportive carry. Included in the pack is a 3L hydration reservoir that sits securely in its own pocket, and features an easy SpeedClip mounting system that makes it easy to install and remove the bladder.
When you need to reach for a windbreaker or rain shell you've got a buckled stretch mesh pocket that stores layers easily, as well as two stretch mesh side pockets in case you'd rather forgo the hydration system in favor of some good old fashioned water bottles. And the storage doesn't stop there thanks to the stowable trekking pole carrying system that'll help you fkeep your hands free on rocky summit slopes. There's also a convenient sunglass storage system on the shoulder straps, keeping your shades safe in a scratch-free environment without you having to take off your pack to stow them.

Well-designed with lots of small but useful featur
Good size, nice H20 bladder (included!), good adjustments. Lacks trekking pole loops of bigger Inertia models. Small pocket is padded and has key clip, but larger pocket with dividers, organizers (e.g. inner pockets, zipped mesh pocket) would have made a perfect commuter day pack PLUS day hiker/hydration pack. Outer bottle pockets well-designed -- deep, elastic, plus works well w side compression straps to hold bottles securely.

small tweak.
Would be nice to have a "quick release" of the hose at the bottom of the bladder. Why? When removing the bladder to clean and/ or hang dry, the hose must be removed with the bladder. Which means each time the hose must be taken through the should straps/ clips and then put back again, and again.

Love it but reservoir no Quick Disconnect
I loved the backpack. Well crafted, sturdy and very stylish. My only complaint is that the water reservoir does not Quick Disconnect.

Inertia 15
The inertia 15 was exactly what I was looking for when it comes to a small commuter bag or day pack! For me, I’m constantly on the go, and the inertia 15 that proven itself a perfect pack for biking, short hikes or just a small bag to take to the gym. I love that it comes with a great 3L water bladder and can be easily removed without a fuss. The main pocket is big enough for a long sleeve shirt or light coat and it has an awesome lined pocket for things like sun glasses, a cell phone or keys. The outer side pockets both hold a 1L bottle, or whatever you need it to hold like snacks. The compression straps ensure everything in the pack is nice a tight. I gotta say, this is one of my favorite day packs now!!!

Would Not Recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had high hopes for this bag but wasn't impressed. The bag does include a 3L reservoir which is great but the alleged "breathable back panel" didn't ventilate any better than other bags I've owned, the one small, plush-lined pocket doesn't have any dividers so anything you place in there will move around anyway, it does not have the trekking poll attachments that the 20 L has, and the chest strap has very little vertical isolation in terms of fit for the user with a longer torso.

Great starter backpack for day trips
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wife and I are getting more serious about hiking and the outdoors and we wanted a bacpack that had a reservoir and could carry our food and essentials for the day. The inertia15 and swift 15 are perfect for our day trips. They're light, fit naturally and don't become a bother even after a full day. It's well balanced and can hold a days food, keys, first aid kit, cellphones, extra shirt/socks and extra water comfortably.
