Saved my Life
I bought this pack about 4 years ago and have worn it in all seasons, mud, snow, thunderstorms and beautiful sun. Last week it saved my life as I slipped along a precipice and tumbled about 20 feet before it caught me on a tree, all my limbs dangling beneath it over another 60 foot drop to stone below. I ripped a few straps off the side in my fall, and the chest strap came undone, but despite the speed of my fall and my weight, the pack (and the tree branch) saved me from a plummet to my death. This thing is made tough.

I took this backpack to Philmont and it performed perfectly. I didn't have any issues with sore spots or the weight of food and water over ur 128 mile hike.

Very comfortable pack
Love the pack options… very comfortable! Used on 5 day through trip, as well as a couple overnights. I choose to sacrifice weight (heavier pack) over light weight packs on market. If a couple pounds slow you down…maybe you should workout a little harder? Just saying.

Good but lots of useless extras that add weight
I have brought this pack on about 8 backpacking trips - it is comfortable, cool, and carries weight well. However, there are lots of zippers and features that I have never used that just add to the weight of the pack - for example, I have never actually used the front zipper to the pack! In general, at ~5 lbs, I would only get this pack if you really need the features. You want tons of bells and whistles and dont mind the extra weight on the trail.

Great bag
I tried on numerous bags from various vendor's all of which had 30lbs in them and this fit and felt right as soon as i had it sinched and set. I put 16 miles woth 35lbs on the hardest trail in NM for an overnighter and felt great. I absolutely recommended this bag!

Great pack!
Pack fits great! A little bit heavy compared to other packs but so comfortable to carry. Packed my bag to 30lbs and did a short 3 mile hike no issues at all.

The pack has a lot of really amazing features that I could not find elsewhere for the price. It’s lightweight, comfortable (I’m 5‘9“ 170lbs), and easy access to gear inside makes for a great multi-Day hiking bag. I have had no issues yet after 50 miles on the AT
