C7 Gore Windstopper Pro Zip-Off Jersey

The Gore Wear Men's C7 Gore Windstopper Pro Zip-Off Jersey is the replacement for bulky layers and awkward warmers. When you ride with this convertible jersey, you enjoy the comfort of being able to change your layering system with a jersey that fully integrates for maximum protection from the elements without leaving you struggling to fit an extra layer in your pack. It has a Gore Windstopper membrane to seal out wind, and the fabric is water-resistant in case you get caught in a light shower or flurry. The flexible material is further enhanced by stretch panels to ensure your motion won't be impeded. The long sleeves zip on at the shoulders for cooler temperatures, leaving the short sleeves to ensure the attachment points can't chafe as you ride. When things heat up, they're easy to zip off and small enough to fit in your jersey pocket or saddle bag.

  • Convertible jersey for changing ride conditions
  • Gore Windstopper membrane seals out wind
  • Water-resistant fabric is breathable and stretchy
  • Stretch panels ensure you have your full range of motion
  • Zip-off sleeves let you adjust to changing temperatures
  • Off-center full zip minimizes chafing

C7 Windstopper Pro - first impressions

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

I love this jersey. First of all, I have lots of Windstopper stuff - another l/s jersey and a couple of vests and baselayers etc.. The C7 Windstopper jersey is different. It is much more effective in keeping out cold wind. When I started a three-hour ride today it was in the mid-50s with a cold biting wind out of the northwest. I was fine with just this jersey and a WS vest. In fact, in about 15 minutes, the vest had to come off. By mid-afternoon, the temp had climbed a bit and we had a bright sun. When I ordered this jersey, I wondered how easy it was going to be to get the sleeves off. It was no problem. I was able to unzip the sleeves with no issues. (this is my first zip-off product). I didn't have much use for it before, but now I think it is a nice feature. This is a complex piece of clothing with all the panels, the sleeve inside of sleeve and all the zippers (seven!!), so it is understandable why it is expensive. Sure glad I got 25% off. One other thing. These folks are lightning fast in fulfilling orders. I got my order confirmation email and 27 minutes later I got my shipment confirmation email. Amazon, eat your heart out.

How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Arm Length:
Measure from the center of your back to your wrist with arms held out.
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
