Neat Little Lantern/Battery Bank

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

We have had this lantern for about a year now and it has served us well. Between walking the dogs at night and our camping trips, we have tested it thoroughly and it has performed without fail. If you have a full charge, we have been able to charge both our phones off the battery (without light consumption). While not waterproof, it has held up to a few drops on concrete with only minor scratches to show for it. I would highly recommend this Lantern.

Great Light! Even in the cold

I got this for our adventuring kit and although we have only used it a couple times it seems rock solid.

Best Camping light around

If you are looking for mobile lighting look no further, the mini lighthouse is a perfect camping/mobile lighting system that packs quite a punch. With the half or full lantern modes it allows you use to dictate how quickly you want to use up the light. Battery life is great and re charges pretty quick. EVery goal zero product i own i love.

Great product

Great combination of size and functionality. Careful use of brightness will make for a super long battery life. I would recommend having spare batteries charged and ready for when you have the need to use brighter light for any extended period of time.

Goal Zero Lighthouse Mini

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Solid little light. I like that you can dim the light to save battery when you don't need a ton of brightness.

For reference, this can charge an Iphone about 1.5 times if you are not using the light simultaneously. If you're using the light too, expect to get about one charge.

Great alternative to Goal Zero's 250

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

My kids & I love this mini version of the Goal Zero 250 lantern. I included it in my curated list of LED lanterns (http://www.gearferret.com/best-led-lantern-2017/), and this li'l one is a great alternative.

Best purchase

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

My boyfriend and I bought this while on a week long trip in Moab, and it is awesome! It puts off a lot of light for a long time (about 4 hours) and I love that it has a jack to charge other things like a phone or whatever else might need charging. It's nice to have this while car camping, but since it's so small we will probably use it for backpacking as well.

Better Than I Hoped

This thing is great! It's smaller, lighter and brighter than I thought it would be. The battery lasts a long time and it charges very quickly. You can hang it from inside your tent or put it on a table or the ground. I really think this thing puts lanterns twice it's size to shame. Highly recommend!
