    Portable power for extended adventures.

Pre-charge the Goal Zero Flip 20 Recharger before setting out on your next adventure for pocket-sized backup power. It has a USB output and input so you can charge it with a USB cable from a wall outlet, computer, or solar panel, and then use it to charge your phone and other small electronics when you're in the field. It fully charges from a USB source in four hours, and it takes about seven to ten hours to charge it if you're already out in the wilderness and using your Goal Zero Nomad 7 Solar Panel to recharge.

    Good charger

Good materials, the usb connection design is pretty useful, as you can pack it and connect it very easily. It holds the expected charged just fine.

      Pass-Through Charging

I bought this as a way to get some extra juice when headed out on adventures.

My primary use is snowmobiling. I can connect this to my snowmobile 12v USB port and then connect other devices into the battery at the same time. Thanks to Pass-Through charging, I can use the battery as a buffer and keep charging my devices when the snowmobile is turned off.

Only drawback is the output. I would have gladly spent a bit more money to get a battery with USB-C. Specifically, USB Power Delivery. This way I can charge my devices quickly.

          Great Boost to Outdoor Pursuits

          • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The Flip 20 is a light-enough super-small and powerful cache battery to bring along. I use this primarily when bikepacking, to keep my phone charged for tunes and navigation. I'm able to charge my phone 1-2 times off the Flip, which recharges itself fairly quickly.
My one small gripe with the Flip is that its own USB power inlet feels like it may not last the long haul/does limit the positions you can charge it. Overall, pretty pleased and eager to keep using this tiny bub in remote spaces.

          Nice battery

          • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Small battery that holds enough juice for a couple of phone charges. Great for backpacking trips where you need to keep a camera, gps or camera charged. Also great to have when traveling and don't always have power available.

          Perfect little charger

I love this thing! It is great to toss in a bag or leave in a jacket pocket to make sure you always have the juice you need to make it through the day. It will hold a charge for a long time so I don't have to worry about it dying on me. It is very easy to charge, simply plug it into any USB port (planes, trains and automobiles, computers, solar panels, anything!)

            Good little charger

            • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I keep this in my Jansport Travel Burrito Kit, but also grab it on the go in town when I'm getting low on charge. I like that you can use if for multiple charges, and you can check the battery status quickly by pressing in the usb. The only thing I found a little annoying was if the indicator light still had 1 circle lit, it doesn't charge. I would expect no light = no battery left, but if there's one light I would think there is still some juice left to squeeze!

Perfect for traveling or car camping!

            • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I always bring this thing when I'm traveling or car camping so that my phone still has juice. Gets the job done. No complaints from me!

            Great Battery Backup

            • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've brought this portable charger on a bunch of multi-day trips for my phone that always seems to die after an hour in the cold. It charged my phone 4 times on one charge. A great battery backup in a tiny package.

            Solid

            • Familiarity: I've used it several times

One complaint would be that the USB and the weight of this make it difficult to charge from any where but your computer. Other than that it works well for charging phones and small electronics.

            Does the job!

            • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Great power pack for those long camping trips. I bring this charger with me on all my trips and it has never let me down! Charges my iPhone 6s fully up to 3 times on one single charge. It does the job, even on really cold nights!

            Modern Day Lifesaver

            • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Fantastic for international travel. No more worries that your phone will die while you're out adventuring. Holds its charge really well, plus small and discreet to fit into any bag. This is a great product!

            Travel Necessity

I take this with me almost everywhere if I know I am going to be out and about and using phone battery. This thing comes with me on all my trips as well. It is easy to throw in a bag and have on hand to ensure you won't have a dead phone battery by the end of the day.

              Kit Essential

              • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love my flip 20 recharger. I carry it with me in my backpack always for those dead-phone emergencies. Its also great for anything else that charges via USB - there's a significant amount of power for a full phone charge plus whatever other devices you may need to charge. All in all, I'd say this little guy has enough power for a full 2-3 phone charges on my iPhone 6s Plus.

My emergency battery for long adventures

              • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This goal zero portable battery is perfect for long adventures in the backcountry when a power source wont be available for a few days. It holds a couple phone batteries worth of charge at full charge.

              Legit charger!

              • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Perfect charger for a longer trip out in the wilderness. Compact, durable and Goal Zero built this to spec as it will charge a phone twice, or a watch 3-4 times.

              Pretty solid charger

              • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I took this on a trip to havasupai, it was a bit heaver than i would want but helped charge my phone multiple times. super nice to have and very durable through dirt and water.

              charged all day

I have three of these- so I love them….They are always so convenient and easy to store. Everyone always needs a little bit extra juice now days so get one and be a life saver.

Slightly Expensive But Built to Last

                • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

We have been using this thing for a while now and and put it through some pretty serious abuse. It has been all over the world with me and still works like a charm. Its the perfect size and easily packable regardless of your destination. Unlike many other (cheaper) chargers, this thing is built to last and you will notice the quality as soon as you take it out of the packaging. Although it is definitely a bit expensive compared to the competition, we still love this thing. We did a full review with more pictures here:

Slightly Expensive But Built to Last

                perfect for a weekend

will sustain your phone with rather heavy usage for 1-2 days.
