Wind it up.
Take a break from the rollers and head to the gym for some wintertime intensity in the Giro women's Whynd Shoes. Crank up the tunes, dial in the resistance, and get your spin on with the Whynd's exceptional comfort and adjustability.
These shoes feature a molded EVA outsole that's just the right amount of rigid to prevent annoying hot spots and still allow you to walk comfortably on the outsole's rubber "walking zones," which provide grip on a wide variety of flooring surfaces. The recessed cleat area accommodates two-bolt cleats to lock into your favorite compatible pedals while keeping them up and out of the way for easy walking when you're not on the bike.
Giro fashions the uppers from a mix of microfiber and mesh joined with laces for an extra-customizable and comfortable fit. For added stability, a large hook-and-loop strap crosses the midfoot to provide extra support and keep the laces in place and out of the chain's way.

The Giro Whynd shoes are perfect for indoor cycling classes. They are comfortable and understated enough to put on at home instead of changing shoes at the gym. They will even go for a little work in the wight room after class--carbon-soled cycling shoes won't do that! The Whynd shoes come with a good rubber cap that covers where the cleats bolt in, so they are also a good choice for casual cyclists using flat pedals or toe clips, but still want a stiff-soled shoe.
