Stay warm and in control.

When you're getting ready to commute through freezing temperatures, throwing on your down ski gloves that are just a little soggy from the weekend may seem like the best way to protect your hands. But we can assure you, it's not. Keep your hands warm and protected while retaining control over shifting and braking in traffic with Giro's Proof Gloves.

The Proof Gloves look the part of full-blown winter kit, but thanks to their removable polyester insert, they're actually far more versatile than you might expect. You have the option of using the fleece liners to keep your digits warm in more moderate temperatures, and the silicone grippers at the fingertips add grip to keep you in control.

The liners are useful, but when the mercury falls, the waterproof, breathable shell starts to shine. With a blend of Primaloft and Thinsulate XT-S insulation, the shell packs ample warmth without bulk. It's designed using Giro's Super Fit Engineering, which considers the mechanics of your hand, as well as glove construction, to maximize dexterity. This gives the gloves a contoured fit, and the Clarino synthetic leather on the palms ensures you'll have a solid grip on the handlebars. The fingertips employ touchscreen compatible technology, so you can keep your gloves on when you need them most and still be able to answer your phone.

My palm circumference is 8 inches(20cm). I have to buy M in the size chart, but I hear that Giro gloves are a little smaller than other brand.
So, Do i have to buy L size?

(Of course, I want comfort fit for liner gloves.)

Wet and cold air, don't care

  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

These keep my hands 100% warm and dry. They're durable while still having a lot of dexterity. Also, the material used on the fingers is touch screen compatible, and actually works pretty well. The only complaint I have is the glove is one complete piece, with no inner-liner as described. However, the warmth isn't excessive so this isn't significant. Stuff like this is why Giro is one of my go-to companies, they always get it right.
