Redolent of a more civilized age.
If there's one word that gets cyclists' hearts racing, it's "retro." Everyone knows that old things are better looking, more authentic, and expressive of an admirable "I'm only living in this century because I don't have a choice" point of view, and that's why the Giro New Road Wind Bomber Women's Jacket is such a winner. That, and because its wind-blocking nylon and polyester fabric cuts out chilly breezes in a way that no actually old gear could. The combination of styling and tech make the Wind Bomber as suitable for long road rides as for cruising through town or heading to work, while the stretchy collar, cuffs, and waist keep drafts out. The hand pockets hold small valuables like skeleton keys, centimes, and artisanal Eddy-Merckx-shaped Belgian chocolates.
- Q & A
Square fit, dark, and thin material
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
- Fit: Runs large
- Size Bought: S
Super thin material, no liner. Color is darker outside. Size S is too loose and looks square, not as curvy as seen from product photo. Gave it away.
Does this jacket have a warm lining, or is it more of an outer shell?
Just a thin outter shell.
