Giro Espada E70 Shoes - Women's

Well-balanced.

The Giro Espada E70 Women’s Shoes are the ideal balance of performance and comfort. While they may not deliver the stiffness of a top-line, no-holds-barred racing shoe, they do provide enough stiffness for long, tough rides, and are incredibly comfortable to boot.

The Espada E70 uses Easton EC70 carbon fiber in the sole, along with a never-stretch-out microfiber upper. The shoes close with two hook-and-loop straps, along with a ratcheting buckle. The Espada shoes ship with Easton’s lauded SuperNatural Fit Kit, a customizable insole system that allows you to tune the fit to your precise standards.

They fit!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small

I have a narrow heel but need a wide toe box. This fit in a 41 (use a size 8.5 shoe). They are snug but not uncomfortable. The insert feels high on my arch but I haven't had hot foot yet (cross fingers) so I'm happy.

Flashy - comfy

  • Size Bought: 41

My shoes arrived yesterday. They may be the best hobby purchase this year. Good looking shoe. Quality product. Most important - very comfortable. I'm a size 8. Narrow heel thin foot - 41 fits perfect. Love, love, love this shoe.

Super cool looking, runs small

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small

I've yet to use these, however wanted people to know they definitely run small before they order. I had a 41 in my previous pair of Giro's and ordered the same size. I got them and could barely put my feet in them. The size chart is off as I am a standard 9 and they told me to order a 40.5. They 41.5 fit perfect. I'm sure I will love them.

Limited size range.

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

The shoes themselves are solid. Stiff, well-built, clean lines--everything you'd want in cycling shoes. These were a gift for a lady friend, and her US women's 10 hooves were too long for the EU 42s. At the time, 43 wasn't available, so I opted for the men's version (the Trans E70) instead.

Excellent quality shoe

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small

I bought these in the highlight yellow. They are awesome looking. I bought a 40.5 which is my size in Specialized shoes. The 40.5 is too small and I had go up a size to 41.0.

I have wide feet and these work great for me. The low insert on the insole was still too high for my very flat feet. I used my Specialized insoles and these shoes are hands down my fav and most comfortable shoes.

Excellent quality shoe
