Great first AT ski

Familiarity:
I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought these for my fianc° for her to start touring on, and set them up with Solomon Shift S-Lab bindings, which are on the heavier end, but seem to be a good crossover option, barring any future durability issues people seem to complain about with this gear. She sized down to 163 from a 171 Black Crows Captis resort set up, and this G3 set up is still much lighter, but 20mm fatter. So far, these skis have allowed her to get comfortable on in bounds pow runs, and spring corn snow on Rainier and in the Stevens/Snoqualmie backcountry. Hopefully, they'll help her enjoy deeper backcountry days once she works her way up to that. She only used them last spring/summer and half this winter season, so we'll see how they hold up once they get a bit more use.
