From the West End to Westminster.
Blend in with the West London locals in the G-Lab Women's Mayfair Jacket. Whether the skies have unleashed a heavy storm, laden with varying levels of invasive precipitation or you're taking the dogs for a walk in a cold, blustery winter tundra, this subtly elegant yet practical jacket not only oozes British high style but additionally keeps you warm, dry, and comfortable throughout the storm.
The Mayfair II refrains from conforming to the average technical coat and consequently is crafted with a slim fitting silhouette that frames the female figure rather than shadowing it behind bulky materials. The durable and lightweight 2-layer, Teflon coated exterior ensures maximum protection from the elements, preventing rain, snow, and wind from sneaking its way in while the cozy DuPont synthetic insulation keeps you warm should the temperatures drop below comfortably cool. A large, removable hood enables you to transition your day-to-night looks seamlessly.

- Q & A
Love This Coat and G-Lab
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Small
Mayflower II has beauty and functionality at the same time. I love the slender outline that looks polished and does not bulk you up. The color Creme is a soft, pretty ecru/light sand beige color, and not white, which was a pleasant surprise. The fur around the neck keeps cold air from seeping in and feels wonderful (it is removable, which is an added benefit). The stretchy cuffs are also perfect for ensuring warmth. The pockets are roomy enough for gloves and a hat, and other details such as the leather buckle, strap on the front zipper, small zip pocket on the arm, stitching and orange hang tag are cool!
Given that it uses artificial insulation and not down, I was unsure about the warmth at first, but I have been perfectly happy in it under 20+F degree, windy/snowy/rainy conditions in NYC.
Size small fits me perfectly. Normally, I wear an wool sleeveless undershirt (Ibex, Icebreaker, SmartWool) and a low gauge sweater (thick but not too bulky), so if you are planning to layer more or like to wear a chunky sweater, you might want to size up (depending also on your build) or choose a different style all together.
