Save your shins.
It's a sure thing that your shins are going to get bashed, smashed, bloodied, and beaten when you're riding flat pedals, unless you're wearing the G-Form Pro-X Shin Pads. The RPT Impact Protection takes the sting out when your feet slip off the pedals, and you can throw them in the washing machine to get all the blood, sweat, and dirt out when you're back from shredding.

- Q & A
Is this sold in pair or single? Can it be worn together with knee pad? Would you recommend a knee shin pad instead?
I thought these were velcro strap attached. Based on an earlier question it sounds like this is not so. I already purchased an XL shin guard and my calves are 18 inches. Will it fit or should I cancel my order? Please advise at earliest convenience.
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
i use these lightweight shin protection for MT Biking and white water paddle boarding nice and comfy
Do these fit "true to size" (I have a 14" calves which puts me in a medium but without velcro straps I'm concerned that these need to be tight)?
Yes, these do fit true-to-size. I would recommend going with a medium on these if your calf is 14in.
I'd be happy to discuss them a bit further and help get order placed if you'd like!
Kody - thanks, but it doesn't look like a medium is available....
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Really comfortable shin pads! Like the flexibility and relatively breathable fabric. Provide protection without being a large biking pad.
I'm lucky enough to have a wife that really likes to mountain bike. I upgraded my wife's pedals to a nice pair of platform pedals, which have worked out really well for riding. The problem is that my wife kept scraping her shins on the platform pedal pins. I bought her a pair of these shin guards cause she needed something simple to protect her shins.
These shin guards work great for non-aggressive riders who just need something simple. It's saved my wife's shins. They're not hot on a summer day but they do keep your shins warm when the temperatures drop.
The added bonus to the shin guards is they seem to keep mosquitoes off of your shins/calves. After riding a camping for a couple of days, all of my wife's mosquito bites were located above where the shin guards had been.
Bottom line: She can't ride without them!
